This is shocking.

You would think that a supplier such as TW would make an effort to send this guy his liquids out again.

Suppliers need to use some form of priority/registered mail that can be traced.

Liquids can be a time sensitive matter to the analog free person.

On the other hand, that customer should never allow his liquid reserve to become depleted to a dangerous low level.

I'm sure you can calmly call TW again and resolve this matter.

Are you guys ready for this?

A week before my Janty liquid ran out I did some more research to see what else is out there and I saw people recommending TW’s eliquid so I ordered the following from Totally Wicked USA:

One Platinum Ice E.Liquid Mixing Kit at $74.99
One 510 TITAN Electronic Cigarette-Mega Power Manual Battery at $19.99
One 510 TITAN Electronic Cigarette-Atomizers at $14.99

Order number: 319558
Post Office tracking number: 4209 5117 9101 8052 1390 7867 2080 72"

I ordered $1408.00 worth of product at "wholesale" for my inlaws so they could sell them in their store. They shipped this large order from the UK. "ALEX' Packed up my order and put the wrong address on the box, wich of course made it go into the unknown world of the post office. The same things happened to me as you explain in your agitated post, only worse. I was banned from using the TW forum and from posting on this forum in his section. Thats why I like Janty cus they leave it all hang out. It shows they are honest people that make mistakes and rectify them when they can.
Long story short, they wouldnt refund my money until the box came back to them so I filed a paypal claim. This INFURIATED jason. I still have the poison pen emails he sent me after this. He said I gave them the wrong address and I was a nusance since the beginning. I have been writing my address for over 20 years. I looked at the email to see if it was a typo but it wasnt. He is an a#$.
When I finally got my order it was shorted 8 BOTTLES OF 30ML LIQUID. tHAT is by my math $180.00. Well paypal said that its my word against his and I got my order so the claim was dropped. In the end I got a bunch new gray hair and wrinkles, smoked to many analogs and for doing my inlaws a favor cost me a whopping $180.00. Jason Cropper, Alex and the whole TW crew can kiss my A#&.
I am sorry you couldnt read my posts warning ppl about tw cause i posted many many times everywhere. Stick with Janty. They have better products, better liquid, down to earth ppl and are not narcisistic in personality as Jason Cropper IS!!!

Hi Mike,

I meant that honeydew comment in the best way.

Regarding Totally Wicked, to be totally fair I gave Totally Wicked 5 or more chances to reply and/or defend themselves in their section and they deleted my thread and it’s replies every time. I’m also sure they know who I am and how to get in touch with me. They can contact me here or simply lookup my order number and retrieve my home number, mobile number, and email address. They just choose not to contact or respond in any way which means they simply don’t care.

Having said all that, I’ll follow your directions and won’t make it muddy since I totally understand what you mean, where you’re coming from, and why.

To be fair, Jason has acknowledged many shortcomings of his USA branch and has taken serious action to correct them. Most customers have been and will continue to be satisfied. I believe he's serious about making the USA branch top notch. That said, chuck, I visited and commented on your post yesterday. Your OP was the same as todays and though I might not have handled the phone conversation the same way ( or maybe I would have??), it's easy to feel your frustration. No one wants to be left hanging, especially when he's done nothing wrong. I normally don't side unless I'm aware of all details from both parties, but this time I need to make an exception. I've read many posts/threads unfavorable towards TW, then end up deleted. Some I can understand, because some will post accusations and get nasty just for the sake of being nasty. Yours wasn't that way, but as I read it last night, chuck, I knew it would be another one. Yep, I was right. Seems there's quite a reputation about deleting bad TW p.r. So, I started looking through other vendors' threads and TW does have an alarming number of trashcans and empty threads. I have no personal complaints about TW, I've been a happy customer, but it has become very obvious that, should I have a problem and the remedy isn't satisfying, I have no recourse in an open forum. That's a shame. Other vendors have public complaints and if terms can't be met, they let it all hang out, anyway. I don't think it's right that some people take advantage of a public forum to drag another through the mud, and I hope no one takes advantage of Mike Janty's graciousness here, but I think Jason should read this and understand he should lighten up on the control a little. I don't think you were unreasonable.

Quovadis, they actually did use USPS Priority mail with a tracking number which is posted in my original message and it can be traced but the damn thing just got lost or maybe someone in the post office figured they’ll give ecigs a try LOL. It was scanned in Florida on November 6th but never reached California. That’s according to the USPS website when you put in the tracking number.

Regarding my reserve liquid, I ordered it a week before I ran out and I always stash a weeks worth of liquid for nicotine fit emergencies LOL. So I basically gave myself 2 weeks which I mistakenly thought would be reasonable. My next emergency stash will cover me for a month LOL.

TWISTED VICTOR, sorry I didn’t get there fast enough to see your original comment before it was deleted. Quite a few people went through the same thing including some that are here. About my story, I tried very hard to be totally objective and write everything without being nasty or attacking TW and its employees. Of course this was hard cuz I’m only human and when pushed I can be a total ....... (that’s with a capital “B”) LOL.

I have also been at the other end of transactions before, selling computers & parts which helps seeing the other party’s point of view. This probably helped to keep the monster inside chained and under control LOL. I can tell you one thing though, my customer service was always A+ and I never treated a customer like this for a measly $20-$30 (their probable cost for my order), specially a new one with a good size first order who is buying something that needs regular replacements/refills, hence a promising repeat customer.

Regarding Mike’s graciousness here, I will continue correcting any misconceptions/misunderstandings in this thread regarding my story so that TW is not dragged through the mud in here and the story doesn’t change or become distorted in any way.

Cool, chuck :). Unfortunately, after the finger pointing comes the name calling and all is lost :(. You have a good case and presented it well, let others judge for themselves. And I hope any additional posters on this thread follow your lead. Good luck, friend ;).

Totally Wicked USA will not get my business again and I hope my experience warns others as to what may be in store for them should they experience a problem with their package or need customer service.

To top it off and make it even worse, they keep deleting my thread and all of its replies from their section. What does that say about a company?

I should’ve just stuck to my honeydew flavor eliquid from Janty. I highly recommend that flavor and it seems to be my favorite so far. 5 of my friends and family members have already started vaping since they tried my ecigs. Guess what company I will warn them against and which one I’ll recommend.

I would like to say thanks Chuck. :thumb:

There are some suppliers who think deleting any/all negative posts is a clever way to run their forums. Fortunately there are areas where you can post your experiences so the entire community can see what's going on behind the curtain.

Mistakes can and do happen. How they are resolved by the supplier makes a big difference in who gets my money. Accepting payment for goods/services means accepting a reasonable responsibility that I receive them. Yelling, rudeness and/or blaming the carrier isn't going to cut it.

Unfortunately, some suppliers don't get the message until the community is notified and we can all see their "great customer service" in action.

If you're going to charge 2 to 3 times as much for products because you claim to have great customer service, why are we seeing so many deleted posts?

Censoring, deleting posts from paying customers who have a legitimate complaint means only one thing for you and your affiliates - NO SALE.

I hope you get this resolved Chuck and thanks once again for letting the community know. :thumb:

Well I have to say that haveing owened a business in the past The customer is alway right/even when they are dead wrong/... It just is not worth allowing even one customer to be dissatasified at the end of the day. I am so sorry to here that you are back on the analogs. And not saying I will never try TW but this post is telling I will wate and see.

Jason Cropper will get his Carma for what he does to his customers. He is mean and full of it and I cannot be quiet about someone who ripped me off for $180.00 and refuses to take responsibility for his mistakes. Ban me from here I dont care. I wont sugar coat anything for that man. I hope he is reading this thread now because I am sure it is making his .... pucker: JASON..YOU ARE A POOR EXCUSE FOR A MAN and ha ha you cant delete this thread. Well worth it if I get thrown off the forum just to say that to you LOL Thanks to Janty for leaving Posts....

Stickless, my pleasure. I totally agree with you regarding deleting bad feedback. You can only sweep so much dirt under the carpet, then what? People will start talking and finding other venues and pretty soon the whole thing will explode in your face. Like you said, I was paying 2 -3 times the normal price because of their supposed good product and customer service and not because I don’t know of other Chinese & American vendors.

SNM, that’s exactly how I ran my business too. This is what “LoBo” said in one of the deleted comments:

“When I started my job my boss informed me of the 10-200 rule. If a customer is happy they will tell 10 people, if they aren’t they will tell 200.”

A lot more than 200 people have viewed this thread so far.

Update: Following people’s advice here, I called TW’s Florida office yesterday to find out if anything has changed. Amanda informed me that nothing has changed and apologized and I told her I totally understand her position and that I know it’s not her fault. I then asked for the British woman’s name and if there’s anyone there above her. Her name is “Alex” she said and that anyone above her would be in England. I asked if that would be the owner “Jason” and she said yes. I’m assuming Alex is a relative and/or co-owner.

Again, following people’s advice here, I also asked Pillbox38 what if anything he can do by posting a very short message in the “Not-so-positive…” thread.

i like the idea of reversing the charges on the credit card. I've never ordered from them, have nothing against them, but have read at least a few of these threads about them deleting negative reviews and it pisses me off to no end. That should never even cross the mind of any business. You deal with problems, if you can't resolve something you appologize and try to move on. You don't cover it up and bury your head in the sand.

i am still new to this whole vapin culture so I research EVERYTHING before I purchase. TW would of had my business till I checked out their forum on here and saw exactly what you are talking about. I expressed my concerns with the deleting of posts and the poor customer service, the faulty equipment, lack of warrenties, high prices....all I was told was to try an order before i make a judgement. Now why would I want to order from them when I rarely hear anything good about them? ESP with the poor customer service!!! If you don't take care of your customers, you have NO Business! They are your life blood. They pay your bills!

Much props to Janty...one day I will be ordering one of your loving vaping devices. I promise..just need some extra money :(

Chuck - If it makes you feel better your post, as well as those about TW deleting any negative posts, has sealed my decision to not order from them. I actually was planning on spending a good amount of money on liquids here in the very near future. I had been reading around about how great TW's liquids are so I decided to read a little bit and see what people said about their customer service. Now I know why I didn't find any negative posts.

My order will not be placed and another vendor will most definitely be getting my money.

To those that feel that Chuck was out of line for raising his voice - It was a completely natural response to the situation. Humans are a lot more primitive than people seem to realize. The woman on the phone was attempting to show her dominance over the situation (as well as being downright condescending, something a vendor should never do) and Chuck responded accordingly. He was not in the wrong and he was "standing his ground," which each and every one of us (sans push-overs) would have done as well.

I'm with you Justin. Same position. And Chuck, you were definately within your rights to get mad!!! Thats your money! Not theirs, not till you get your product anyway. Sure, you could of kept calm and what but that doesn't change the fact that they took your money, havn't replaced the product, and havn't offered you a solution. AND they delete your posts to try and keep others from finding out.

Thank you everyone for your support. As some of you have said it sounds pretty disturbing that this seems to be a trend.

UPDATE: I received a call from TW informing me that the package was returned to them. Apparently they had put the wrong address on the label and that’s why I never received it. This was a mistake on their part that I ended up paying for by having my money locked for over a month. I had already started a Paypal dispute to get my money back so TW asked me to drop the claim to speed up the refund process. Again, following someone’s advice here I refused to do so since Paypal will not let you re-dispute an item and this would have left me at TW’s mercy, a position I’m quite uncomfortable in. Instead I requested Paypal to call TW and verify the whereabouts of the package and TW’s willingness to finally refund my money.

I finally have my money back and am willing to deal with anyone other than these people.
