Mik, I've never seen this mentioned and I wonder if Janty has had any internal discussions about it -- Is there any consideration for a Janty Pass Thru? If not there should be. There are only two quality PTs on the market. I wont name them in your sub-forum but every non-newbie knows the two I'm referring to.
We have been discussing this - but it is not something we will do right now. But we have made both drawings and plans, so .. it could very well come at some point
Now for eGo "purists", perhaps sell the option of either "style" batt. Again, the more people you satisfy the better the gig.....

The slickest thing would be to have the usb charger as an add-on. Screw off the standard batt cover, screw on the usb charger and you have the eGo with usb on board. Batt cover fits the batt or the add-on usb to cover the port.
This wont be possible unless we completely redo it -and that will also add to the length of the entire unit, so while it is a nice idea, its something we gave up on for the eGo
I personally would rather see the dura/510 pcc altered to work with the ego. I realize the whole point of the ego is to not have to fool around with things like that but I just like the integrated feel, looks and protection from damage that a pcc offers and if it keeps the battery topped off all the better.
We are working on a Universal PCC - however, i wont comment anymore on that for now - its not something we will put out soon, but.. just to let you know that it is in our plans - for now atleast! (things change - dont want to promise something i cant live up to now do i.. - i know you wolves

This is the plan - that the original eGo remains - and this one would be another eGo set - ie. keep both in stores.

I would be interested if I could purchase individual eGo batteries that included the USB functionality. Wouldn't mind ordering one or two of those to go with my two normal eGo batteries.
But I don't really understand the purpose of this...isn't the Baby J supposed to be a passthrough? If so, adding it to the eGo is pointless.

Well - i see your point and i will convey your idea to them - its not a bad idea at all.
As for the eGo being pointless with USB due to the Baby J having it, i dont agree. The Baby J is not a passthrough, but a 801 type e-cigar and the USB function on that is both for passthrough and charging. And since you can not attach an 801 atomizer to the eGo, then i do think of them as separate products in this regard.

I will most likely be purchasing a larger battery for my eGo in the future (XL I believe they will be called?). If this was to have a USB plug on the end for recharging and passthru use, then I do not see how that is a bad thing.
If however this is to be a new kit which cannot be sold separately, then sadly I would be slightly depressed as I would of preferred the passthru to what I have now.
I already purchased a PT as the eGo didn't seem to have this function (until now). I wish I had of waited. In theory if you have of had the eGo kit for purchase and then an additional (bigger) battery for sale with PT capability, I would of no doubt purchased it at the same time.
Although, saying that. My PT now is HV and although it works perfectly, there are times when I wished it was an eGo. Kuya, i read what you wrote - and even though you have deleted it you bring up a valid point:When i posted the Baby J is not a passthrough i ment in the sense of it just giving 5 volt straight from the USB: - it will give the same amount of voltage that it gives when it runs on batteries, since the passthrough function in it will do just that - run on the battery.

My thoughts exactly. The USB would keep batteries that no longer hold a significant charge useful.

Sorry i havent updated this in a long time - i think we are about ready to produce it actually. It works great, and it does its job great, so .. it should only be a matter of time before its released.
I know they are working on the final touches now, so i will update this as i get more info - i dont know when that is, could be one day, or one month - it all depends, we have _alot_ of stuff going on now, but i will keep tabs on it!

Oh and the runtime on two batteries when i vape on it is approx 5-6 hours. This is still a subjective thing though, so dont kick my .... if it turns out you only get 4 hours ( or 14 .. )

No. It is easy enough to charge the extra battery on a PC or 12v adapter. I don't see the need for it to be attached to the eGo.
Just purchased the eGo and its nice but the cart is small. We need a cig that has a bigger atomizer and a cart larger than the Janty Stick. I am getting tired of buying each cig that you guys put out hoping it will be better than the one I have. I stopped the ecig for 7 months because I am disgusted with refilling about every 10 min or so and Janty lost some money in liquid sales during that time. When the atomizers get overheated, the smoke decreases.
If Janty would make a really good cig with an atomizer that was twice as powerfull as the eGo maybe with a switch to select power setting, super large cart and battery, I would sign a contract to buy a certain amount of liquid each year.
