All you have to do is see where the logo on the chimney in relation to the afc holes on the base when the juice control is open. Then you know when its open. I do it on both ss and the black.

my merlin arrived earlier than expected, ofc had to throw a build in there to try it out. No machine oil or weird smell straight out of the box.
Threw in a prewrapped single alien coil 6 wraps 3mm IAD, came out to about 0.45ohms. Vaping it at 33.3W on my DX 75. Looks the t*ts, vapes like a champ (removed the center airflow reducer piece). Loving this thing, thinking of picking up a silver one...and I do like the black glass and how it came standard and with a spare.
This tank is super easy to wick got no leaks no dry hits on first attempt without even checking out what other users were doing.
Mod is not in TC mode, haven't went into escribe to change all the settings yet.

Gee, that's terrible...
I've been waiting on the Black version since May 4th and it's finally in Canada now. I should have it this week. The Silver version I won from the other place should be here around the same time!

It's my favorite even while waiting for my replacement bases... I put all my Kayfuns away...
I've had the black Merlin for a little over a week...excellent atty! Really great with the AFC screw out. Vape it throughout the day switching between it and the Boreas. Nice difference from a single to a dual coil. Flavor on both is outstanding...but different even with the same juice.
