Is the spacer on the bottom there so the AF /JF turn freely on some of your mods? I think the the 510 is a little to long for some of the 510s on certain mods.

The bottom part on my tank is one of those silicon rings. I'm using it on mine because my air control rings are too loose and it does not restrict the air control. The vendor is fixing my issue. These tanks are great otherwise.

I was speaking about the card under the Vape band. I just cut one and placed it in between the 510 pin and the mod. AF/JF turn as they should.
I do agree that it's a rock solid other than the issue I had opening and closing while attached to my mods.

Finally got my technique that works for me. I just stick the end of a pipette in each of the juice holes and tuck my cotton around it. Works flawlessly every time. I'm love my SS. My black one on the other hand is another story. My vendor said that they would correct the problem. I'm not going to make a decision until my Serpents arrive. I will see then which one I will be vaping on the most and decide if sending it back for a replacement is worth the hassle.

Seeing your photo gave me idea to cut one out punch a whole in the center. AF/ JF spin freely now and independent of each other.
I have a new base on the way , hopefully the replacement will be better.

Got mine yesterday and the airflow wide open still seems really stiff. Of course I removed the reducer, but this is much stiffer then what I expected. My boreas at two holes open is much airier than this thing wide open. Can someone that has both confirm that this is to be expected with the merlin. It almost feels like there is something in the air path causing a tight turbulent draw. From the looks of the air slots and the air hole in the deck I would expect more air than what I'm getting.

Could you maybe have the coil too close to the air chamber? My 3 are plenty airy but then airy could be subjective.

Are you having too airy MTL issues? If so, how is the vendor fixing the issue? I think I read something about this but can't remember.

If I had read this 5 mins ago. I just scrapped the rest off. I don't think the tinted glass liked it's ultrasonic bath. But now that I look at it, I like the clear look better.

Oh it comes off? Excellent! I swapped it for the spare clear glass form the other tank because I coudn't see the JFC properly, or the juice level once it got lower!

The vendor I bought mine from wants me to Paypal him $2 to ship a replacement for my faulty end cap. $2 isn't gonna break me , but its the principal of it. I'm not too happy.

I did the same thing for the same reasons. Tinted glass was driving me crazy not being able to see. It was like the SS tank on my old kayfun. Lol good to know that an ultrasonic bath might make the two tinted spares usable again.

I've not personally tried it but I've seen mention of Baking soda in a UC to remove the coated glass colors, worth a shot I guess if you have some to remove.
