My Merlin showed up from Eciggity last night. I think this tank wins for best looking RTA I've ever had. (and I have a ton of them). I put a simple build in it using 8 spaced wraps of 27ga kanthal @ 2.5mm, coming in at 1.2Ω and wicked with cotton. I wanted it for MTL vaping, so I kept the reducer in place. I must have nailed the wicking on the first try, as I've had zero issues with dry hits or leaking, running this at 25 Watts using an 80vg liquid. While I loved the look of the included drip tip, the tank was still a bit airy for the MTL vape I was looking for and decided to switch it out for another. Worked perfectly to get the draw I wanted with air slots only open to just a "circle".

Flavor on this tank is superb. Perhaps one of the best I've ever used. The tank showed up clean and I've found no faults in the machining. Everything is smooth and gorgeous.

I've run across a couple of minor cons. First being, is that many of my drip tips don't fit it. They are either to wide to fit in the hole, or they don't sit flush. Also, the 510 is a little long and the tank doesn't sit flush on a couple of the mods I tried it on. That being said, the pro's on this tank FAR outweigh these minor issues for me.

Nicely done, Roxy! I think I may need another. ;)

I tried 6 different mod and all the same. Brass pin is in tight. Can't adjust while attached. Take the Merlin off the mod the juice flow turn round and round.
Guess I'll contact Eciggity and see what they say. I had to try multiple drip tips before I was able to get one to fit.
It is a great vape. Easy to wick and build. Tank looks great, hopefully it can be swapped out.

.2 ohm notch on a Dos, about 80 watts, 90VG Diy, chain vaping wicking keeps up, flavor is fantastic, this juice never tasted so good, airflow wide open restrictor boxed. Have quite a number of other single coil atties, this thing has made 99% of them obsolete. another SS, and a black one on the way.

Cotton is fairly tight in the notch otherwise it under-saturates, tails thinned about 1/3, puffed & fluffed, fanned on the deck, anything going down the holes is consequential. No leaks/flooding, perfect vape

Suppose I'll toss this on a regulated box to see where it goes, but it really is nice on the Dos.

What 2 holes did you use to hold that coil?

It actually works pretty well at low voltages, I closed up the airflow and set it to 15 watts, was surprisingly good, not as bad on ramp up as you would think, especially considering that ends up about 1.7 volts. I'd normally put a clapton in this but I was anxious to try the tank, the included notch coil performs really well, Going to have to grab some more and give them a try in some other attys.

I love this RTA, just wish i could find a drip tip that was narrower and fit perfect.Anyone any ideas? I tried my other ones from my other tanks and nothing fits.
I'm using these, I have it in both colors for my Merlins. (the band and the card on the tanks are only temporary) See Pic

Got mine yesterday and the airflow wide open still seems really stiff. Of course I removed the reducer, but this is much stiffer then what I expected. My boreas at two holes open is much airier than this thing wide open. Can someone that has both confirm that this is to be expected with the merlin. It almost feels like there is something in the air path causing a tight turbulent draw. From the looks of the air slots and the air hole in the deck I would expect more air than what I'm getting.

IIRC, the Boreas has 1.5 or 2 mm airholes. With 2 on each side open that's 6 to 8 mm of airflow compared to the 3.5 mm on the Merlin. So you're talking half the airflow. Unless there is something blocking the Merlin's airflow...
