The OP said he/she already smokes... 1 or 2 a week. I am sure sometimes it is more than that, sometimes less. Not addicted, but enjoys having an occasional smoke. So this choice has already been made, bad or good. The question was whether or not 18 mg is high enough to get addicted. It probably is, but you get a heck of a lot more nic from smoking. Some people do not get addicted very easily, and I can see how there is frustration from people actually trying to escape a harmful addiction.

Younger people nowadays are being conditioned to NOT have an opinion other than chiding those of us who do. They think its enlightened....sad is what it is.

Too true.

I always love (meaning it's comical) when saying someone is smart is considered great, but saying someone is ignorant is called "judging." I guess judging is cool when being found innocent (or smart). LOL

As to the OP's question: maybe, maybe not. You will be able to tell us better than we can tell you about what did or did not happen with how your body, I repeat, your body handled it. Nicotine is like most other things that some people get addicted to and others do not. Nicotine can have a vice-like grip that can be almost as aggressive of an addiction as caffeine. I kid, I kid (kinda).

The Op asked a question, people answered.. During the normal flow of a conversation this is what happens. What exactly is wrong with stating opinions exactly?

Many responses conceded the point that the OP could and should do whatever he/she wanted, along with various opinions.

Safe bet to say if you don't want to hear what people have to say you shouldn't ask in a public forum where opinions will vary widely.

There were few posts stating that non-smokers should not even think about vaping. My comment was basically for anyone who thinks they should tell someone what they should or should not do. I read your post above and I do agree with you on what you said. vaping anything with nicotine may or may not lead to addiction for non-smokers, but that should be it.. A suggestion to not vape that juice, not telling people they shouldn't vape because they don't smoke.

Age does not equate to maturity or wisdom as we have seen with the way you act.... just sayin...

Do you actually read the words you type before you post or just say the first thing that comes out of your mouth?

A lot of people will agree that Im an ...........myself included.....but your assessment is about as far off the mark as the rest of your comments and opinions are.

No is really listening to you any way junior. Run on home now and let the adults talk.

Hi,

A few days ago, I ordered an e-cigarette + e-liquid (10ml), just to try. (I don't want it to stop smoking, just to fool around with it). However, today I noticed that the e-liquid I bought is High in Nicotine (18mg/ml). I don't want to throw it away , so If I use it, and afterward I use nicotine free e-liquid, might I get addicted to nicotine?

I'd also like to know if you have any cheap link for nicotine free e-liquid.

Thanks!

PS: I am not a smoker.

Bottom line: If I try 5ml to 10ml e-liquid nicotine, might it lead me to addiction?

The OP clearly states he/she doesn't smoke. I think the statement in red implies that he/she is considering e-cigs just for fun as opposed to using them as a stop smoking aid.

It's strange that the original post is the ONLY post from that person. I know, others have already stated this but I agree. Maybe it was just an ad for the link that was at the bottom? Nevertheless, it sure has generated a lot of interest.

To the OP's question: Maybe, maybe not. Some people get addicted easily and some not so much. It's a risk that you may quickly and it's probably a certainty if you kept up with it.

You have all the business in the world to be addicted to nicotine and use e-cigarettes no matter what anyone tells you. Would I recommend it? Probably not but there are worse things in the world to take up.

Why did you edit your reply? Was it not a mature response? Apparently you had regret about what you type or was embarrassed about it. Anyways, I am going to do the adult thing and bow out before you turn this into a flame war. Have a good night.

ECF without zapped is like vaping without nicotine! LOL. Where's the fun in that? My point is that stimulants are awesome.

Lol thanks for the vote of confidence!! I think..... As to the way I act....I wasnt aware that acting was even possible on a forum made up of words. I'm starting to think the person you quoted is having difficulties with their perception and that more than nicotine is involved.

Getting the last word is awesome! Peace.

To the OP: I don't feel addicted to nicotine necessarily, but I am addicted to vaping. Make sense? It shouldn't. LOL

I edit all of my posts for clarity and spelling errors. Sometimes several times because I'm OCD like that.:) There was no embarrassment or regret. I already put the other poster on ignore.

Back to the subject at hand, I agree with Mr. Mann why even take a chance if youre already worried about it? That little voice in the back of your head is your conscience and sometimes it pays to listen to it.

Boys Boys! Play nicely and behave yourselves...we don't want to hijack the OP's thread. Put the testosterone down and let's move on.

I have been watching this post and I know that everyone has different views on this. The simple fact is this...nicotine IS addictive and yes OP you may very well become addicted, why take that chance...is it really worth it "just to fool around with it?" Really?

I hate to equate something so seemingly innocuous (vaping) with other, ahem, killer substances (take your pick), but for all the things that I have ever "toyed" around with, smoking not being an exception, I first got into it questioning whether it was "really" all that addictive. Nah, not me. It's mental, right? It would seem that part of the draw of addictive substances is to see if we can beat it and be immune. That said, sometimes we can be unaffected, but virtually all things that are considered addictive, that I messed with, I did get addicted (whether hardcore or mildly addicted.) Hell, I just recently kicked potato chips. Bet'cha can't eat just one.
