Damn, I forgot to drill a hole for a light pipe on my Tibsmaxi....:D

No you didn't.....remember the back door slides out so a light pipe wouldn't work in the back. Plus the leds are on the back of the charger board or at the front of the mod. So you would probably want the light pipe in the front :D

Actually, I think the light pipe coming out the front is not a bad idea, except it would be off center.
Hmmmmm.

I will wait until I have the T screwdriver and some extra screws before I start drilling..:) Those rods may be a good addition to the odds and ends co op.

They would be nice if the acrylic would lend itself to being bent to maneuver it to the middle of the case.

Mike as bap said , with a little heat they become very flexible. And with the 1/16 that bap posted a link to it wouldn't take much.

once bap gets his order from ebay we'll know for sure! :D

Ordered something very similar a couple weeks back to experiment on a build. Took less then a minute over a heat gun and I could shape very easily. Just have to not overheat or it will not emit the light very well.

Do you think boiling water would work? How much can you bend the stuff and still transmit light? Will a 90 bend work?

And the answer to that is YES acrylic bends very easy with a little heat, a heat gun on that 1/16 works really good. and if you want to make the end round just sand with 1000 grit and apply heat again till end turns transparent again.

No you don't want to use water just read my above post.

Beat me to it. Also depending on the bend your trying to achieve you can use any round object that is the size you need exp. a pen , or some other round stock of whatever size you would like to achieve and bend around that for a nice bend. Yes 90 degrees will work just fine
