Let me let everyone know - I'm NOT .....ing and complaining - I'm more than happy with how this turned out for ME. but I can see and understand how others might feel slighted - and it is for them I speak.

All those yelling loudest it seems, got way more than they bargained for - so yes yell loud how fair it is and how ungratefull everyone else is... but do stop for ONE minute and LOOK - how would YOU like to be in the position some ladies find themselves?

So lets take it back to how it was originally - no harm no foul RIGHT?

Wildsky... For the record, my FREE prizes were changed completely. I sort of liked the original 401 and the ecigar... but I have learned to like the Titan and the DVP9 just as much.

If someone needs something I got, they can PM me their addy and I will ship it to them. Not my house or car though! LOL

My friends.......ladies especially....I have been off and on here while at work...and would like to say thank you to all those showing thier support for Rick and Myself! Ladies..These prizes are for You.....You gals did all the "real work"...with the hours on end of wonderful posts...This was for you not Us!....If we didn't make everyone happy...I can't say its not for trying...we did try!...and you can quote me on this staement from an earlier post " If anyone made one friend durring this pageant isn't that a prize worth more than anything else?".....ladies thank you again...the prizes will stay a GO!The Wiz!

Wiz--as you have pointed out--you provided so fair an opportunity for people to get to know one another better and let everyone have a good time. That in and of itself was the best gift that you provided. I appreciate all the effort you put forward and I think that most agree with that. Rick was instrumental in his efforts. To think otherwise is so fair an opportunity lost and would be a rank travesty-----Sun

It's just one of those things that no matter what is done...someone's feelings get hurt. Wiz and Rick worked way too hard for the hurt feelings to land on their doorstep. Not to mention that whoever the supplier is. They are made to feel their donation is not appreciated.

If you PM me who feels slighted, I will happily ship my prizes to them, so all are happy.

After all, all is well that end's well.

actually dear... you are correct.. there is the gift horse thing..

there is the fact that all involved did so without any expectation of a prize of any sort...

i also dont think it's about .....ing about free stuff.. i think we jump to that conclusion mistakenly to simplify what may be being said in the interest more of fairness more than self...

there was a prize list.. that list was there all the way till voting ended.. once voting ended..that prize list should have been set in stone..but it wasn't... in all fairness.. i don't think wiz has done anything intentionally.. i would like to believe that he changed the list to TRY to make it fair.. but... changing the list after the fact was not the wisest of decisions..

he is right.. most likely there would be SOME dissent if he had not changed the list.. but he DID change the list..thusly bringing that dissent directly to himself instead of simply being able to point out "the list has been there for a week now"

and no Kaston.. im not picking on you or your posted opinion.. (just to be CLEAR).. you just happened to be the one who worded your post in th perfect way as to facilitate my own posting..

i think mayhaps it's time to let it go.. the point has been made.. and it should just be left there

i just wanted to let you guys know what a straight-up genuine nice guy the wiz is....i believe he stated the prizes were subject to change....this thing has consumed him....you should see the weird looks we get from the non vaping guys at work that had no idea what we were talking about....what he did he did because he thought it was the fairest way to set the prizes....and he was real upset that people were bickering about their prizes.

we are dragging a dead horse why? we have all said thank you to rick & the wiz and the sponsors. we were confused about the change. it has been stated by the wiz that he could and did change things...done...no brickering that I saw, just a few questions. No looking gift horses in the mouth, etc...just questions.
