I use builds down to .35 ohms in my Nanos and have two friends that go down to .15 ohms with their Nanos. The button does not even get warm at all.
As I understand, the warning on the website for the .5 ohm limit is to cover someone putting a Nanos in their pocket unlocked and having it fire constantly.

OH OH speaking of that, does your nanos unlock easily in your pocket? I've seen reviews and I love how it seems effortless to lock and unlock the sucker.

Apologies for the incessant questions; I just spent the last week going crazy trying to find THE MECH for me and I finally decided on the Nanos.

No problems with the questions at all. I love to share my experiences and enjoyment of owning and using the mods made by MMVapors.
I am not sure about the Nanos unlocking when carried in a pocket. I don't carry any of my mods in pockets, but instead have them in leather pouches with lanyards when out of the house. This works great for me and protects the mods also.
I would think the Nanos could possibly unlock when carried in a pocket as all it takes is a "flick" of 7mm to lock or unlock.
I don't think you can find a better mod than the Nanos for the quality or price.
Let us know what you think of the Nanos when you receive yours.

Well.. i'll share my experience as I regularly pocket my Nanos. I have never had it unlock on me during normal activity...i.e. just out and about walking, etc. However, I was out skateboarding with my kids once and noticed it getting warm in my pocket...and it was unlocked. I'm fairly certain I locked it.. but i think the mod jostling around in my cargo pocket while skating did manage to unlock it. Now I place it in a small case during "physical activity"... but simply slide it into my pocket during normal situations. Of course, YMMV.

So.... Anyone else build below 0.5 ohms on these suckers yet?

I'm a little puzzled by the warning. I don't think the mods will ever get to a temperature high enough to degrade the magnets, especially at the switch, even at 0.3 ohms.

I have some builds that low but I just use another mod, why chance it just to see ?

"The Nanos does accommodate sub ohm builds but please make sure not to leave your device unlocked with a sub ohm build. This has to do with the magnets in the switch, if the magnets get over 120 degrees Celsius (248 Fahrenheit) they will lose their magnetic properties. "

Emphasis on DOES

So you can build sub ohm coils, but then just have to make sure not to leave it unlocked on the table...

Oh oh I'm asking because it's gonna be my only mech ilafter selling away my nemmy 9 months ago. I would typically build my attys around 0.5 to 0.7, but I have a habit of creeping downwards once in a while and I would rather not have to rip it out and rebuild again.

NANOS | Nanos Mixed | mmvapors.com

MMVapors has changed the ohm statement on the Nanos pages, see link above. It can do low sub-ohms as well as any mod available. No mod can handle contentious firing at low sub-ohms, so the lock needs to be used to prevent this from happening.

For the folks who are in the US, I realized that the price on the website includes VAT. I emailed MMVapes to ask about it and they said that there is an option of either they charge the VAT, or the US customs charges a customs and tax fee, with the latter likely to be significantly more expensive.

Just wanted to hear what other folk's experiences are, and whether one or the other is a better (cheaper) option
