#300 checking in... and this thing has been stuck in my hand since i've gotten it. Its a pleasure to use and all other locking systems now seem like a hassle.

edit: oh.. and for what its worth, i'm hard on my devices... i throw them in my pocket with keys and such.. so naturally my tube has taken a beating already (scratches, etc..).. And i was a bit concerned about the reliability of the locking system under such circumstances, but thus far, i'm very happy to report it has never become unlocked unintentionally. Of course, YMMV... but i have yet to run into an instance of it becoming unlocked in my pocket or bag.

I'm the same way, and you can get it adjusted so as to have no rattle, also agree about handing some Nanos to the youtubers, I feel this is one of the best mods to come out in a while, I'm really becoming MMV only when it comes to Mods, I passed on a BCV XXIV the other day in favor of rescuing a V2 Sleek in SS, that was on consignment, not that I dislike the BCV, but, I have purchased Mods based on reviews form the you tube crowd and a couple have been very disappointing. I own quite a few authentic atties and mods and I use my MMV mods more than anything else.
not to go off track, but I picked up a couple of those new Efest 35A purple 18650s and put one in the Nanos and wow those batteries are incredible!

Just received my Nanos I find it's a fine line on how much to adjust for battery rattle. It would fire locked sometimes ( I use Vtc5 ) is it best to leave just a little battery play and not overtighten it? Couldn't believe how fast I got it. Now I will use those 18350 batteries more...

I don't understand how your Nanos could fire with the button locked. The only two things that I can think of that would allow this to happen is that the screw in the bottom switch is loose and protruding beyond the insulator when locked or the insulator has fallen out.
Unscrew you bottom switch and lock it. Then put a straight edged item across the insulator and see if the screw is below the insulator, leaving a gap between the straight edge and the screw. There should be a gap.
The battery sits on the insulator and the screw in the button is only supposed to touch the battery when the switch is unlocked and pushed up beyond the insulator.
A button top battery inserted positive against the switch might could cause this to happen also as the positive battery post could extend beyond the insulator. Make sure the negative end of the battery is against the switch.
I use flat top batteries in my Nanos. I don't know if button top batteries can be used or not.
I adjust the contacts on my Nanos so there is no battery play, but at the same time no pressure on the battery. It is a very fine adjustment.

It seems really odd that there would be a heat issue on the bottom/switch end. Maybe they are being overly cautious.

I'm really tempted. It looks like a great option for people, myself included, that can't afford to blow $200+ on a mod and don't want to buy clones. Looks like these start out at around $100. How much does shipping to the US work out to be?

Looks to be in competition for the Super-T Precise Simplicity.
Where do you see this? I look, and it says £269 ($367.00). I get so confused.

I go the full OCD route of adjusting positive connector to the point where battery won't rattle but I still can screw both button and cap fully on.

Edit: ... and got a third set of cap / button enroute...

MMV really needs to get some of these babies in the hands of youtube reviewers.

LOL. I do the same thing. I go full OCD with telescopic posts like the Nanos. Getting it set just right. No rattle, with the last twist of the top cap.

Checked everything when I got it tight screw and insulator is fine. Think I just over tightened the top cap along with the positive connector it's working fine now. I think there is a thin line in tightening everything up just right. Really like this little mod. There's only a few YouTube videos of these been looking for any on just the switch or photos of it, the manual just does not do it.

Nanos start at about 79 Euros... not sure what you're looking at.

It's not there now. But, trust me, it was there on the home page, listed just like I said earlier. Today, on the home page is mainly a bunch of tns's and a Temon. Today I have to click on Nanos and then it takes me to several affordable choices.
It's good to know these are way affordable, and I'm glad I brought this up. How many others saw the same thing I did?

I think what you saw was the EXT Full Pack, which is a package with three Nanos. This package has all the different finishes and you can mix and match to get different looks.

Bingo!! Aha, lol. But, come on, being a new gawker, how was I to discern between that and anything else that might be on offer. It's all gibberish until we become more familiar with it.
Wow.
Well, way cool. Now to contemplate which one to try...

There are so many different Nanos to choice from. A lot more choices than with the Poldiac for sure.
I have been following the development of the Nanos from the first time Jim showed us a little hint about it. I have the 18650 polished brass single tube Nanos and am really enjoying it.
I think I will get another Nanos when Jim releases his new dripper this summer.
Now would be a good time to purchase as MMV has free shipping on orders of 100 euros or more until the 16th of June.

In case anybody ran out of magnets (like I did) adapting the Poldiac+extender ring+TNS hybrid or when the spacing of the magnets doesn't give a good fit, you can try this out. It's 1 magnet plus a flathead screw (this one is left over from an old PC), and it works like a charm. :D

Oh my, how can I refuse an incentive like that?!!!
The big 18650 can be shortened, yes?, and turned into a 500 or 350? As well as the opposite if we buy the extra parts right?
I haven't kept up with mods and attys this year and last, and am in the dark, except for pics on FB and whatever.

Yes with the mixed or Ext.mode the 18650 can be used with any size 18xxx battery. I really like my mixed you get the solid 18350 tube with ext. fits in the palm of your hand...

oops... It's for the following setup:

Poldiac tube
Poldiac extender ring
Nanos button
TNS hybrid

Since there's no top cap (yet) for this setup, and the battery sits too low to make contact with the hybrid, you can use a couple of magnets on the battery to bridge the gap. That works fine for me with 2 magnets for the 18350 and the 18650 (depending on the battery, flat top or button top), but the AW 18500 is actually 18490, so I needed three magnets or some other kind of extender. A screw from my old PC was just the right size together with 1 magnet.

Hope that helped!

Heh! Just stumbled across something odd. Was just messing about with extension tubes for the Nanos, and noticed one of them looked slimmer than the rest. On further inspection, I realized the extension was actually from my Nemesis clone. Same threading as the Nanos.

So... 2 minutes later, I'm vaping my Nanos with a Nemesis hybrid adapter. Not a perfect flush fit with all atties, but it definitely fits the tube.

... aand a crappy picture. This thread definitely needs pictures. I'm not capable of taking those beautiful pro-like photos found in most other threads tho. :)
