MicroStick SS

Production of the new SS version of the MicroStick is started.
The key changes are:
- SS 303 body instead of the anodized aluminium
- atty hole is wider! Now it's 17.5 mm instead of 16.5, so it can be used with 17mm atty.
- no serial numer, only logo will be engraved.

Good things which are not changed:
- It is still a small light-weight mechanical mod - best solution for daily use. It will stay in your pocket protecting the atty, since it's mostly hidden inside the MicroStick body.
- designed for 18350 batteries but with an extender it can be used with 18500 bateries
- the price is the same - only $129!

We recommend a MicroDrip atty for it: 16mm, 2ml, bottom air flow, never leaks - a perfect addition to the MicroStick for only $20!
It can hold 2 ml of juice and it's very convenient to refill it, since the top cap can be unscrewed in just a half of a turn.

We started the production of the first small batch. There will be just 50 items in it.
The shipping is planned in 3 weeks (approximately end of January).

Comments and proposals are very welcome!

The new stainless steel MicroStick looks spectacular. Just when I thought I wasn't going to be buying any more mods you come up with this.

One request and one question Mr. Donkey.

    Request:
Knurl the switch ring on the new stainless Microstick. I saw where somebody had done that on the original Microstick and thought that was a GREAT IDEA!

    Question:
Will an original 490/500 (black aluminum) extension fit on the new stainless MicroStick? If it does that would be super duper! Plus I think that it would look great and make the new Microstick more attractive to those who already have a MicroStick with an adapter.

Thanks for your idea but the buttons are mostly ready. I agree that it's a good idea, so we will consider it for the next run.

New stick has a slightly bigger atty hole, so it has slightly bigger dimensions. Most likely the old extender will not fit, at least it won't fit perfectly.

Little Donkey, let me ask you something I has already asked you per e-mail. The question was: if you consider to make a transparent tank for the Mini-Atty. Your answer was: you are thinking about it and there is going to be a solution in a week. And indeed, some days later the transparent dripping attys appeared.

But I meant the Mini-Atty proper and not a dripping one so let me repeat the question here: No plans about a transparent/partly transparent MiniAtty tank?

    - and : anybody interested in it?

We considered sevarl options about the transparent bodies for atties and decided that the easiest way to do this is to use Kayfun glass tube, since they are cheap and widely available. It's much more tricky with a 16 mm atty.

The main question for sure is if anybody needs it :)

We can start BigMicros after the MiniSticks are ready if there will be at least 100 subscriptions for the BigMicros.
So if you want it, please let us know here:

I'm having issues with one of my Microsticks. I've narrowed it down to the 510 connector. I can't figure out how to get it out. I don't have a GP fork, though I've tried to get it out with a needle nose pliers and it won't budge. I sent a message on the website, haven't got an answer back. I swapped the pieces out with my other Microstick that is working well to narrow the problem down. Not sure what to do now. :(

They do seem to wind that 510 connector down pretty tight. You'll find it's only the first time of trying to release the 510 that is such a mission. You need to persevere with the needle nose pliers, maybe adding regular pliers or other grippers across the blades of the needle nose pliers so you can exert more turning pressure to that 510. It will come loose - once loose you won't have that issue any more... GL...

    Hi Susan,

are you sure you sent us an email? I haven't received one. :(
You can write to us here: Contact Us - Mini ECIG
You can use small scissors to unscrew the connector. It might work better than pliers.
Please read FAQ here to check some tips if the Microstick is not firing:

I sent two messages via the contact page on your website. I believe it's the 510 connector that is a problem. The brass pin in it is moving slightly. If I push it up, it works but once I take my atomizer out to refill it and put it back again, it stops working. I've looked at the FAQ's. Also, the bottom is so tight I have to use a hammer with a wooden dowel to get it off.

I've tried scissors, needle nose pliers and finally a GP fork to get the connector out. I had my friend - a big strong guy try to get it out too, he had the GP fork. We put it into my jewelry vise and tried moving it with all the above, including using another bigger pliers for leverage with the scissors and needle nose pliers, still no luck. I'd like to send it back for repair.

In trying to troubleshoot this thing, I've scratched the outside anodizing, punctured my hand twice when the scissors and/or pliers slipped and bruised my pinkie finger. Not going to suffer more injuries to me or the device.

LittleD i ordered the SS microstick. Can opt i not to have the engraving done on mine?
Sorry, it's too tricky. To do this, 3 people need to bear it in mind for a long time. We already tried to fulfil requests like this and it never went out good. Either one of 3 forgot about it or the one who requested never came and bought that specific one. It was a big mess 8)
    We can't do this.

Omg! Why it all went so wrong? I'm sorry about the injuries and I sent you the instructions.
Your mails were not handled properly by the mail server. It happens to some mails about 1 time in 1-2 months. Still cannot figure out why it happens :(
At least now I found them and answered.

The MicroSticks are on sale. Check out our prices!

I had been admiring the MicroStick for a while now as lots of members that I know here have them and love them. I had been looking at For Sale posts in the Classifieds for a while but I never committed. I noticed that you had a good sales price on your website last week and I finally decided to purchase one. I primarily use 18350 batteries and I have some Spheroids that I plan to use it with and I'm eager to get my shipping notification. I'm expecting a new Piccolo this week that should keep me occupied so I decided to use the slower mail option for shipping. I figure that it will show up in early February if it truly ships within a week of purchase as listed. I'm excited to get it, yet at the same time I'm prepared to be patient.
