I received my Miniatty two days ago. Nice idea with the coin! A small, but interesting marketing idea!
Looking first at the igotcha69 video review, I noticed that screw heads on my atty are bigger in diameter than the poles. In the video review, the screw heads are the same diameter as the poles. No way using a 2.4 mm rod for the coil ( like igotcha69), because I can't partially "sink" the coil between the posts, due to the screw heads. I also noticed that in purgen's video, he also uses a 2.5mm rod for coil. I can't, because my screw heads are too big, so I am stuck with 2mm internal diameter microcoils on 28 gauge Kanthal. Why the chimney is not 2 mm taller? Then it would have been housing a coil that is above the posts.
After 3 builds, I managed to "nail" the wicking with japanese cotton, so, now I can say that this atty is almost fantastic. Vapor wise, it is perfectly on par with Kayfun Lite Plus, which I have, if no better. Flavor wise, I say that Kayfun has a small margin.
A 3ml tank would be best; mine is 2ml.
So, Little Donkey, what about those screw heads?!
One more thing: the chimney edge is very sharp; it shaves the O ring from the upper part of the build deck. I already have 2 shavings.
I tried with 2mm silica, like purgen. Obviously impossible to insert two fold 2mm silica through 2mm microcoil.
