Great, thanks Chadsmo! The 1 ohm seems to be just perfect, hits HUGE for such a little unit, and the battery lasts a good long time! But I haven't tried any other ohms yet either, since I just got this. How long does your battery last at 1.4?

That's tough to say really because I switch them out way before I have to , probably every 2-4 hours depending on how much I'm vaping.

Ahhh... ok. Mine's lasting almost the entire day, but I'm not hitting it exclusively either. How much juice are you going through with your Spheroid in each battery change if you know?

I vape about 7ml a day or so. If I were to use my Micro Stick and Spheroid all day I'd probably use four batteries. I'm sure I could just as easily use two , but I don't run them below 3.7v really because I don't like how weak the vape gets below 10 watts.

Question about ohms/coils... what are you guys building for your microstick?

I used my BDC head Aspire ETS in my microstick for a while, which reads 2.2 ohms, and it went through my batteries like crazy. So I changed to my A7 with a 1 ohm coil, and it hits like a champ! Then, I started getting a bit worried, since this is a 18350 battery, and I wondered if I may be pulling too many amps at 1 ohm... I'm using a AW 18350 in it.

What ohm are you guys wrapping for your microstick?

.7 is as low as you want to go on that battery.

As for me, 1.4 ohm 30g micros wrapped on a 1/16 drill bit.

Yep. the AW IMR 18350's have a 6 amp limit, so .7 is as low as you want to go.
For a ballpark on how long the battery will last, use the old rule of thumb, 100 mah = 1 hour of regular use. So if you vape heavy on a 700 mah, you will only get about 6-7 hours of use out of it before a recharge is necessary.

You know, that's what I thought, but my battery lasts 4x longer with the 1 ohm self wrapped coil vs the 2.5 ohm BDC bought head in the ETS?!

It probably just feels that way.

2.5 ohm on a fresh battery at 4.1v = 6.7 watts

2.5 ohm on a drained 3.5v battery = 4.9 watts

1 ohm on a fresh battery at 4.1v = 16.8 watts

1 ohm on a drained 3.5v battery = 12.2 watts.

So your nearly dead battery on a 1 ohm coil is putting out nearly twice the amount of heat to the coil as your fresh battery at 2.5 ohms.

As you might noticed the production speed was low and we were (and are) too slow compared to demand.

So we are trying to change the bilding, the equipment and many other things to become bigger and better
I guess we will start production again in April. It's hard to say, because the changes are truly big for us now.

I can't imagine how one of these could end up in the classifieds. Just saw a Wanted for LESS than retail, and the guy actually had a chance to buy it at Vaporev too!! I JUST waited 3 months for mine. Can't imagine who'd sell theirs...

There's no list... you get very lucky when they put them up on the site... and it doesn't look like that will be sooner than April now that they START production. From what I saw... production takes 2 months roughly for a batch?? That means they won't come available again til June at the very earliest? And THEN you wait the 2+ weeks for shipping from Isreal.

I'd imagine if someone were willing to sell their Microstick (which everyone who owns one now would have a very low serial #, these are all individually NUMBERED), they wouldn't sell for LESS than retail.

glassgal they occasionally come around the classies but not often, I got mine there #726 , the ecf member who sold it to me was extremely fair with his pricing, he just decided it wasn't his thing. It was all about being in the right place at the right time

It may be the residue on the mod from packaging and washing that you think is scratching. Did you clean it really well when you got it ? Mine was a tad grey when I got it and after I cleaned it with some never dull it became the nice black that it is now.
