The 2 reasons I want a MicroStick are the stealth factor, and the recessed area for the atty. I love this feature on the VTR, but it's not the best chipset, and it is too big and bulky to stealth with. Being a mech, I feel like this will meet all my needs. I am signed up for the notified list, so hopefully it will work out for me.

I am thinking a 15mm XL IBTanked carto tank and a Sophia to go with this. However, I may also explore the other atties others here are using. I got some time to figure it out....

Oh you'll love it... the microstick is THE BESTEST 18350 mod on the planet. #1 hands down, no competition comes close.

For 18650 size tho... the competition is pretty serious...

You know what I didn't think of when I bought my ms? The noise! Sure - it's stealthy in my pocket and hand .. but as soon as I press the button it sounds like a mini version of the space shuttle taking off . .or possibly somebody operating an arc-welder . .something like that, lol.

It's a nifty mod, for sure. I get more pure stealth from an ego/evod combo but, obviously, the performance of the ms and something witha good build in it is far better. It's actually a great mod for going to the bar. I'm old(er), though . .so I don't stay at the bar that long. If I was still in my 20's I'd probably need about 6 batteries to get through a night out, lol.

My newest setup for the microstick is a diver v2 in a standard size 15mm ibtanked. Working great. Love this little guy!

Sent from the backwoods of Maine.

I'm older, too, and I don't drink. I always carry extra batteries with me, so again not an issue. I'm used to noisy cartos and the rattlesnake effect, so again, not an issue. I don't actually stealth too often, anyways.

Um Bosco.... the only thing that makes noise is the atomizer:p. Otherwise the MS is completely silent. I've noticed that the A7 is somewhat hissy (tho I wouldn't call it loud), and the Spheroid is marginally less hissy, but still hissy. Hrm. Wonder which atomizer is the least noisy?

Well . . I was definitely joking (although it's true that the ms isn't so stealthy when you're actually using it). But it's not just the atty . .it's also the fire button. This is a *loud* fire button and no matter how lightly I press it there is always a distinct, loud "click". Seriously . .I actually do a lot of stealthing in bathrooms at offices I visit and the image of me using my microstick in the stall next to somebody else is just hilarious. It would literally sound like the guy in the stall next to you is welding car parts or something.

But that's not a complaint . .I dig the performance of the microstick and I use ego's to stealth vape in bathrooms.

I find the click becomes louder as the switch gets dirty. You might minimize the sound by taking ti apart and scrubbing it clean.
