OK so I took my switch apart and cleaned well but don't have a hex screwdriver that fits the bottom screws...anyone know what size I need?

Just did mine tonight as a matter of fact. 5/64" works fine on the bottom screws as well.

I know it's been asked before, but I didn't see an answer. Can anyone confirm if the purple efest batteries will work in the microstick?

I asked a few pages back and never did get an answer. They fit. A little snug, but they fit.

They're also great batteries. They'll be replacing my aw's as I cycle through.

I was considering to get a titanium Hamoriko, but i need an extension tube which only comes in SS for some reason, so i got the SS one instead.

So why isn't there a titanium extension tube?
Does the titanium one comes with a titanium button or a standard SS one?
Anyway in this run we don't have Hamoriko Ti :)
We decided to go for SS mods and atties only in this tun. Ti versions will come later.

It's for a set of 2 screws.

Thanks for the clarification.

I decided not to wait for the Hamoriko Ti... ordered the Hamoriko SS kit and spare parts for it and my MicroStick for now. Hopefully when the Hamoriko Ti's are made you will also be making the MinGen Ti's at the same time for another order I'll be placing. And hopefully the Hamoriko Ti will have extra titanium tubes for it as well.

Good evening everyone.... hey if anyone wants the Micro Stick extender and doesn't have one, let me know... I ordered one and never put it on as I like the 18350 mode. House was full of company this weekend but hopefully tomorrow night my MS will get a good, deep cleaning.

I decided to try out the entender on my MicroStick for the first time today. And while changing to it take it apart for the deep clean thing as well since it hasn't been done in the 2 months I've had it.

The deep cleaning didn't go well... I can't get the base 510 assy apart/out. It turns in both directions very hard about a full turn or so before it locks up solid in either direction. So tight I can't turn it any more using just my hands - not without a cheater. I'm not going to force it because it looked like it possibly had been taken apart before by someone else...... so I have no idea what's going on in there. Found that I can clean the juice well just fine with a bent blunt dental pick and ISO soaked cotton, PT to dry, and the 510 post and other contacts with a pencil eraser. So unless the 510 assy fails I'm going to call that good enough for cleaning it.

Anyway, I put the extender on it and adjusted the screw... it works great w/18490, is not that much heavier and is still small enough to easily disappear in the palm of my hand. Since I don't have to stealth vape anyplace in this city anyway, I may just keep it in ext mode from now on. It's still a bunch shorter than the Megalodon in 18350 mode with a short atty/DT installed (the mech that has been my favorite mini since last summer).

Hi
I have been eyeing the megalodon and wondering where to get one
Says in stock but reviews go to like 2011
Are they still available and would you recommend ?

I keep my MS in 18350 , but notice the same challenge trying to get the pin out to clean . I also use your technique to semi clean it I guess

Thanks

Tim at Moju Republic in the Uk is the only place I know to get The Don's. Mine is an early brushed aluminum version that I have all the tubes for. They also have a SS version and there was newer version parts than mine has. Now they are selling both versions for way less than they were last summer, around $90 and $100, both for less than I paid for my cheaper aluminum version.

With many of their picture links broken, some parts no longer listed and the reduced prices it appears they are trying to move stock and get out of the Megalodon's. They are so simple there really isn't much that go wrong with them though, and they are very easy to take apart. I guess over enough time the connectors brass positive pole could get worn down by toppers, it's a floater and not adjustable. Not much else that would have wear issues though.

I really like mine, I can't speak for other folks. Small, very light weight, easy to fire with a pinky finger, button is adjustable for different tube/batt configs, has on/off positions, but whether it locks off depends on how you have the button adjusted. The up side of that is there is only one position where it can fire at, and you can find it in total darkness easily. Uses any 18XXX batts, but can also use batts or batt combos for 5V, 6V and 7.4V.

Hope that answers some questions about The Don's.

Yeah thanks

I really was interested in the 16340 config for the stealth factor... But ill continue with MS and VS for that ..!!

Just purchased a slug, from the totally other side of the spectrum but may find a place in my collection in the future for the Don !

Much appreciated

If you want to give the 510 pin a good clean /polish, you can easily pop it out of the circular threaded housing with a small screw driver from above. It's just press fit in an insulator.
