Any chance of a native 18500 Microstick in the future? Or an extender that fits flush without the grooves?
Chels tried both versions as a protype. He said that the one with grooves looks better. So we'll have it that way. The more options we do, the higher is the price :-(
So we have to choose just one when possible.

I'd love an additional, stackable extender that let's you run a 18650. It would still be smaller than most!

I bought a spare extender for just that reason - or maybe an 18500 with a kick. Needs a ridiculously long screw/bolt (M3 I think?) Not got around to fitting it yet - as the 18500 with the Spheroid is pretty good as-is. But I do think that the Penelope (for me) needs the kicked option to get the best out of it. Right now I'm using the Penelope with 18350 and a kick. It's good, but 18350 has a short useful life when it's kicked. My other MS is permanently 18500 with Spheroid - which is really very good.
Agreed. Extended to use a good 18650 battery (or 18500 kicked), the MS would still be a small enough device to be "great"

OK, a few weeks later now - and here it is...

I'm using it with an 18500 and a kick (my preference), but of course it works perfectly with an 18650 too...

Very nice. If you don't mind... what all was required, besides the longer screw, to stack the two extenders? I'm looking to do exactly the same thing still - kicked/18650 for use at work where there's nowhere to charge up for 8-10 hours a day.

Thanks, and congrats!

Not much actually XJ.
You'd just have to cut off (or grind off) the key that is designed to key into the main body of the MS. I cut if off with my Dremel in less than a minute. It still locates into the "other" extender as there is a recess to allow a perfect fit...
Then you'd need to push a pin (copper wire) into drilled holes to mate the two extenders together, for the battery current to flow between the two extenders (and the main body)...
Quite straight forward really. My hands have certainly seen better days - not very strong any more, and precision work for me is a thing of the past (if I ever could that is???). So I removed rather more of the anodising on the extender than was really my aim...
But, my lack of accuracy was all on the top of the extender(s), so not visible at all when the thing is closed and in use...

Only fair to again thank B.K. Who started me on the track of "kicking" a Microstick in the first place...

GL...

MiniAtty: waiting for engraving - Mini ECIG

MiniAtty: waiting for engraving
The MiniAtty is in general ready. The last operation is engraving, which can be done fairly quickly. The only problem is that the factory where we normally order engraving is on strike for almost a week. We try to find another company now.
We solved all the problems. Now we have pins and there is enough space for the mesh 2.3 mm in diameter.
We'll start the shipping as soon as the engraving is ready.

Help Please

I got my MiniStick a couple of months ago, and I tried to use it tonight for the first time.
I have a show to do later this month, and I bought it to be "stealth" while there, so that I don't have to go hide in the restroom anymore.

I threw in a fresh 18350, added an adapter to a mini protank, screwed it in and ... nothing...won't fire.
Removed the mini and tried it on a spinner .. fired right off.
Put it back in the stick ... nothing.

I tried loosening the screw under the cap a tiny bit, incase it wasn't connecting, screwed it back in, ...nothing ...won't fire.
I switched over to a different type tank (still using the extender), same story .. no go.
Swapped batteries, (no it wasn't upside down, and yes, it is a button top) wiped all the connections off, tried again .. still won't fire.
Checked the second tank on the spinner, (with adapter still on) ..fired right off.

I can't figure out why it doesn't work.
Two batteries, and two tanks, that all work on other equipment, so there's nothing wrong with them.
I bought it from Chels site, brand new, after months of waiting, and now I've had it long enough (I guess) that it's too late to complain.
I was saving it for this upcoming event, as that's what I bought it for, ...I should of tried it out when I first got it :censored:

Oh, and I bought the extension and spare parts at the same time, ... and the extension is another problem.
I thought maybe I could get it to work with an 18500.
I take the screws out, and the bottom is flush .. nothing to get ahold of to pull it off .. couldn't push it out either.
So I gave up on that idea ...

It's such a simple device, and I'm really stymied.
If anyone has any suggestions as to what the problem is, I would really appreciate some info
Otherwise, I'll be throwing about $200 in the trash, if I can't figure it out.
Didn't even get 1 puff, let alone the fact that I fell in love with it

Went through any and all video's I could find, looking for help/answers, to no avail.
Defiantly not a happy camper right now .. so please .. any idea's ??????

MicroSticks are on sale!

The new run of the MicroStick is better:
- the lock on the button is reversed, which means that the whole button will not unscrew while you unlock the button
- an o-ring will be included with each MicroStick for the screw in the button. If you need to adjust the screw in the button for a shorter battery, you can use it to fix the screw.

The new run of the MicroSticks was started some time ago. We decided that we'll start taking orders only when they will be almost ready.
Now we got the first big batch of the MicroSticks from the anodising. Engraving and assembling will take about a week.
Already now you can place an order for MicroSticks, extenders and cases here:
MicroStick (shipping within 14 business days) - Mini ECIG
MicroStick 18500 extender (shipping within 14 business days) - Mini ECIG
Leather case for MicroStick (shipping from Russia) - Mini ECIG

MiniAtties are almost finished. All parts are ready. We only need to complete the engraving and assemble them.
The top caps were sent for engraving and we'll get them back already on this week. On the next week we'll finally ship them!
The next run of the MiniAtties will be started after we ship all existing orders.
To subscribe for the next run:

Here ya go Slots.

First of all, I'm very sorry about it.
The good thing is that you can fix it quickly on your own.
If the recommendation doesn't help, contact us and we'll sort it out:

I finally got it to fire. :thumb:
I still have the problem with removing the bottom plate.
We almost broke it getting it to come off. Searched through the tool box until we found some tools to get it out.
It had to literally be hammered back on.
It should just slip in and out,... but once you get this one back in, you sure don't need the screws !
So, I'll probably never use the extension I bought for it due to the difficulty of getting the plate off and on.

But .... it fires.
Love ECF
Thank You both very much,

What is the SN of that MicroStick? Sounds like it's from the first run.
That's the reason we do not support the extender for it.

Great that it fires now!

The only number I see on it is the #1781 right under the donkey ... please don't tell me it's on the inside.
I sure don't want to take it apart to find it

The Spheroid fits fine and works great in the Microstick. It can rub a little as it's screwed in, and can scratch the finish. Not a huge deal to me as it lives in my MS, but maybe to some.

Sent from the backwoods of Maine.

Doesn't bother me in the slightest. If you think that's scratched, you should see my Penelope! But then, that doesn't bother be either...
As you say - they live In their MicroSicks, and they work perfectly - that's what matters...

Mine doesn't seem to scratch my Spheroid at all. But I am really careful. The Spheroid and Microstick are a match made in heaven. I'm really certain that the designer of the U-stick (Chels) was using a Spheroid at the time of design.
