I don't bother with straightening first since they're going to get straightened during the twisting process......ymmv
Taking care of my mom has shown me I need to find ways of getting things done perfectly in as few steps as possible.
Both of these are great. I bought my 1st jig from forum member DarkZero. Not sure if he makes them anymore.
My favorite jig is a toothpick. Can wrap around one with my eyes closed.
I have been using blunt needles and they do well but I thought this may be easier on my crippled up hands [emoji6]

I did too. Was in here talking to the screen........it's right there.......look down........your getting warm...............THEN he completely looked the other way. I just wanted to reach thru the screen & hand it to him!

Daw thank you Smiley..yeah I'm blind as a bat and that wire is so small. I wanted to kick those coils in the Ba Donk a Donk and get the video over quick, but no such luck..lol
Yeah it's just a 4mm allen wrench and I heated it up cherry red at the bend with a torch and bent it in more..It helps keep the wire on while twisting honey bunny.
It was the shipwreck. I am going to let it steep awhile since it is tobacco flavor. Thanks for everything!!

Was very nice to see and hear you, Sirius.
But you lost me at the drill. I'm askeered of power tools. I played with coil building a few times and I think I'm too lazy to learn. I very much prefer to just pop in a premade coil.

I'm having the Kayfun rebuild night from HELL!!!!!!
First I lost the deck insulator- spent 45 min looking for it cause I forgot #1) I have another Kayfun I could've taken it off of & 2) I have a big full of these damn insulators that I bought 8 mos ago (outta sight outta mind).
Now bcoz I'm so cool & lazy & never tie these sneakers, the insulator did me a favor & landed inside it but it was 45 min later before I knew that.
And THEN I lost the damn thing again!
No....it's not in the sneaker this time & the vacuum will probably find it before I do but at least I've got a bag of extras.
Don't know how I managed to snap the center pin when removing the deck. I'm this >< closse to tossing this mess I've made in the trash!

Aw-w-w dang! Sorry, ScandaL! Sometimes when the frustration level gets high, you just have to put the project down and come back to it later. Believe toay will be an excellent, nimbly day......Hope so, cause am gonna try building a few coils for the ProTanks.

Wow I set up the authentic Rose S last night. First, it is nothing like the clone. Except in appearance, though it is much shorter.{hence the 'S"}
It outperforms every RTA I have ever used to date. My friend roxynoodle was right. She loves the Rose. It has awesome flavor and vapor.
I cannot put it down!
