Just a quick check-in... I'm home for a quick break, but on my way back to the hospital. Parents are there helping out so I can come home, take care of pets, shower, check vapemail (MM tip?) etc. and take a nap when I get back - I haven't slept since I got up Thursday morning (about 53 hours and counting)! We'll be home on Monday.

Thursday 12/11 5:01pm - First twin (Emma) is 7lbs 0oz, second twin (Hannah) is 5lbs 11oz. Everything went fairly smooth. They had to check the smaller one's blood sugar, as she was on the low side of normal at 33 (should be over 40, with 25 being bad).

{{{hugs}}} Splatnext :(

At least she's looks happy there :)

That's the thing, she doesn't even seem to notice, she shows no discomfort at all, she eats well plays like a puppy and snores like a saw mill, I will rather have her like that then barely moving and in pain because she is all cut up.
Better a little time of happiness then a long one of misery.

I see a name down there that promises some good news...baby news that is.:)

Oh, John, how exciting! Congratulations to you and your wife. May Hanna and Emma give you joy and always be joyful. Special, special day. Can I be Auntie Mame?.....or is that Katdarling? :p

Splatnext, we would do well living in human yrs. as long as Sami has done in dog yrs. Think you've made the right decision there.....Sides she looks rather perky there. Wonder what she's up to do next. Hm-m-m-m-m

:DEmmsma, the Segmented tip looks very right where you got it! Just as long as you can sorta twist it around to see all sides. More difficult on box mods......Ask me how I know.

Tammy Kaye..That's as southern as it gets..Mind if I stick with Kayte tho? I'm so use to it and it suits you so well. I'm guessing Doug has a pet name for you as well. I did for Mrs. Sirius..lol

For those wondering just what a Mrs Sirius looked like.

    Here is the good news...

    o4qehRT.jpg

Sami showing of her pink bandage.

The ended up not operating, telling us that Sami has most likely cancer and since the tumor grew about another third since we rushed her in Black Friday, it would put her under to much stress and she is simply to old.We could try an Oncologist and try radiation to see if it shrinks.
So we decided as long as she is pain free and happy we will leave her be.

My relationship to that little imp is a little complicated, her true mommie is my boss whom she terrorizes to tears.
When I first met them the boss was facing a long hospital stay and no one to take our little terror Sami, I took her home with me and fostered her for the next six month, she promptly fell in love with the hubby, she just adored him but then she knew where he kept the treat bag.
You caught that quite right Choo, she was in trouble in that pic, she had gotten in to the after dinner goodie bag and stole a large piece of ham and two baked potatoes. What you see in the picture was all that was left, a piece of baked potato.

Any how I'm only her second mom but how can you not love that little imp.So we will just have to take it one day at the time and enjoy her for how ever long she will stay with us.At least I can go home to mu own pound pup and bury my face in his fur.

On a much brighter note I came home to a super surprise. My Copper Pine Cones is here. :D she is gorgeous and vapes like a dream, I'll take a picture tomorrow when the sun will caress all the hidden beauty out of her.

Besides if I step out of my front door right now I will commit murder...new neighbor feels the need to share his taste in musik with the whole block.

Awww...bless her little heart. She looks happy to be sprung from the hospital. As you said...just take it one day at a time and as long as she seems comfy and happy, that is what matters :)
