Sedge amazing matchy matchy Reos!
Hope everyone is having an awesome day. I am trying to decide between pastry and a coffee, or a nap.
Right now the nap sounds better...
Have a nice day & chat with you all later.
Pastry and a nap. Skip the coffee till after the nap then more pastry with coffee.

Without any disappointment, I put my trust in a fun project—a blind joint commission of two artists.

I commissioned Mark Howard of Dready’s mod Spa and Kayte of Molehill Mountain Drip Tips in a joint venture to create a work of art together.

I had Rob of Reos mods send Mark two brass Reo Grand doors and Peter (pdib) to send him two brass Nuppin rings.

I asked Mark to create an “Artist Choice”, only telling him (and providing photos) which two Reos I have and intend on placing the doors so he could have knowledge of the background palette.

I asked for no photos and that I would not give any other input.

Once he was finished, I asked him to mail the items directly to Kayte, who would then create drips tips of her choice to compliment the doors/rings.

I did not see the final creation until they arrived at my doorstep sent by Kayte.

I am absolutely blown away by the result as I am sure you are too.

Thank you so much Mark and Kayte for participating in this venture. The results are more beautiful that I could have envisioned.

:vapor:Hi everyone been a while busy sorting out Jason's PAs, his vehicle which has had a little mishap due to ill mannered drivers here in London. Where have all the polite English drivers vanished?!

Anyways congratulations to many of you on a variety of things from years without baccy to receiving wonderful vape mail!!! I too have received some lovely mail from Doug and Kayte just takes a little longer but well worth it!!!! Always exciting opening those little boxes. Sadly I will have to wait till Monday to pick one up. The first one to receive a fee for duty Aghhhhhh! The duty is one thing but the PO charges as much just to pay on my behalf and no-one gets the choice to pay it themselves. What a scam! Still I have to be philosophical about it. It is the first time and spread overall it is a small price to pay for such delights:). But I don't want anymore little cards like that through the post box:rolleyes:.

Sedge your mods and tips are a true joy to see. Wish I could take great pics. Need to find some time to post pics of my tips for you all. It will come one of these days promise. Lots of love and hugs to you all across the oceans xxxxx:);)

Doug and Kayte as always thank you so much for all the beautiful little works of art. I do manage to switch them around so I can have each of them out to enjoy.

Lovely projects Sedge! Nothing better than Rob, Mark and Kayte collaborating together for some beauties! Congratulations!!:)

I finally got my Woodvil put together after sleeping until almost NOON!! Eek. Sure does hit like a champ although I think my build is a bit wonky. It isn't a good day for coils apparently. Hands a little too shaky.

Anyway, I think I shall call her Bella (bloodwood, vampire etc.). In the end, it was Radioactive I chose to put in her. No strong favors to get into the wood and one of my favs.

Have a great day everyone!!

Sedge... it was a pleasure and fun to be a part of your venture. You know I had such a hard time sending those off, sight unseen! I'm so glad (and relieved) that you're pleased with the results. Thanks for sharing! Those are some beautiful mods!

Nadia! So sorry to hear about your sons vehicle and hope everything gets sorted out quickly. Seems so much of the world is being taken over in selfishness and rudeness. I love it here on molehill mountain.
Sure hope you don't find another customs card. What a rotten thing!

Chooch... have a fun day and happy birthday to Mr. Chooch!!!:banana::banana:
Personally, I'd rather go to the dentist than to that vape meet. :p

Hope you're getting a nap KS.

Ms.C - gorgeous woodvil!!!!!

Sirius - That is sooooo beautiful! Can't wait for you to share pics of your place and your views with us!

Here's a snippet of what I've been working on. (The kitchen of course. )
Couldn't really see the detail in the big pic, so the little one shows it a bit better. I'm having fun with this part of the project and I hope it looks like I've imagined it, once it's done.

Haha Sedge is pshychic, or a good judge of human character. That is exactly what I did. The pastry is called chesito. Not sure that is spelled correctly or I am saying it exactly right, but that's how I say it= ches-eeto . It is Spanish, and sold in little convenience stores or Spanish groceries.
It is a flaky twisted pastry full of cheese and baked with granulated sugar so it gets gooey on the bottom. It's is not overly sweet. I can never buy one, always at least two.

Lots happening on the mountain I have missed.
Kayte, gorgeous design. Is that on the counter?
Mrs. C..that is an amazing woodvil! And it looks beautiful with that tip. Congrats!
Chooch, happy birthday to mr. chooch. No tip arrived yet?
I know one of the pink packages arrived today in Ohio.
Good to see you back for a visit Nadia. I am sorry your son had an accident. People seem to be getting more rude with every passing year. Or my tolerance for it is going down.
Sirius sweets, always thinking of you and wow what a beautiful pic. I would love to live in a beautiful place.
Those of you who do are very lucky to have nature to look at instead of cars, buildings, houses, streets and sidewalks..and hookers:blink:..and lol:lol:
Time to get back to chores. Hope you have a nice evening all. I might be back...

Okay! 3 hrs. of VapeCon was enough. Definitely done for the much "younger set" and way too loud! Sexy "models" got "dressed" today. Said hello to my fav local B&M, got a few juices, gave the photographer of this month's vape magazine down the river for a cover and inside spread of near nude women even tho beautiful, hugged on Dimi and listened to him about meeting with Mitch Zeller in D.C. (they're playing the "for the children" angle pretty hard), rehugged on my "homies" and left!

Then rushed home to bring in the birthday cake, card, restaurant gift card AND balloon neighbor left on front porch, refound our hearing, then left for Portofino's where we blew out all the stops on our favorite dishes and a carafe of wine bringing home half the food to redo a second time tomorrow night.

Am now sipping on some coffee trying to stay awake until 9 pm to watch the last episode of the Outlander season. If I have a piece of that caramel creme cake, the elastic in the waist of pj's will have to be replaced!

Now we purposely didn't leave until mail came, KS; and we were right to wait. The Burl came in safe and sound. All 1 3/4" of it! It's a beauty alright and you already knew that. Hubby has on his black MVP and is enjoying the feeling of a pipe. Ha! :)

Kayte, what you're doing to the wall reminds me of the white flower bouquet tips you've made for us. Your artistry is amazing and your ambition/energy seems boundless! :)

Sedge, a collaboration between two, three.....four! (let's not forget Doug) talented people, can't help but bring fantastic results.......It did with your two "one of a kind" Reos......Now do you vape on them or lock them up in the safe deposit box? LOL :)

Chooch, I forgot to say Happy Birthday to Mr. Chooch! :bday: Hope he had a great day...sounds like dinner was awesome! :D

Ms.C I also forgot to say how much I love you new Woodie...so beautiful! But then I knew she would be! :hubba:

Nadia, sorry about the trouble for your son with the car...yes there certainly are more rude and selfish people these days, but there are also some pretty great people out there too...unfortunately you sometimes have to turn over quite a few rocks before you find them! Hope things work out for him.
