I'm with you on music festivals Chooch. We have a small one here called the Bedford Blues Festival but I've never gone. There's some kind of crazy going on when you have an outdoor thing in Texas in July!

Oh forgot to announce my 1 year vape-anniversary. I really never thought I'd see the day when this 49 year habit could be dropped so easily. One year down and more to go. WHOO HOO!

Well, the tip-munching rescue dog struck again. This time it was the Cambodian rosewood...but all ended well. Doug fixed it and it's now beautiful. Hope someone adopts him soon. :)

Hope everyone has a good day. Be safe.

Linda

Oh, so you're the snagger of the blue tip! You got it in the nick of time missy. :D I really was going back for it that last time I looked. LOL It's sure to look super on the blue porcelain istick.

A big CONGRATS for hitting that one year mark big sis. I knew you were right behind me. Who would have ever thought in a million years that we would both be smoke free for over a year!

Riding to New Orleans and I just made the comment that the unopened pack of cigarettes I've had in this car for over a year could probably be tossed now. I never even think about them being here anymore. They were always just a psychological crutch anyway.

Did the segmented tip that dog ate ever show up? I'd have to find that wood eating dog a home quick.

I was walking into a restroom in the New Orleans airport when I notice the standard No Smoking sign. Only, it was changed. It said "No Smoking or Vaping".

Now that wouldn't be so unusual but this is New Orleans! Where you can get a daiquiri at a drive thru. Smh

Yep Ms.C, they've banned vaping in a lot of public places here...hard to believe for a 24 hour party town! :nah:

I forgot one important kudo for my one year vaping. If it wasn't for Lezlee I would be celebrating. I went to her house for a visit and she introduced me to vaping. I used her equipment and juice and soon we went to a local vape store where I bought a bunch of stuff :) She had started vaping a month or so before so we kind of learned together. She been my rock and inspiration. A big thanks Sis.

Morning Mountaineers. So I came home last night expecting to find my beautiful new Floral on Blue tip from the auction waiting on me....well I had several packages, but no little gold boxes among them!...I panicked thinking someone had stolen my precious work of art. I grilled the kids about it, but they hadn't seen it. So finally I went and checked the tracking, and apparently the little booger has decided to take the scenic route like Chooch's errant tip did a while back! Instead of coming east to me, it decided it wanted to go west to Sacramento first!...It is now finally at my PO and will be out for delivery later today, but dang that USPS for scaring me like that! CA, really?!

Hi all [emoji4] Just checking in. Angel, sounds like your tip just wanted a vacation before it went to "work" [emoji6]

Today is mine and hubby's 35th Wedding Anniversary. [emoji4] Haven't made any big plans yet since he had been out of town for several days. I imagine we will go out to a nice dinner one night this week. He brought me some roses here at work. [emoji4][emoji253]

Well, y'all have a fabulous fay and stay cool. It's mid nineties here today. My kind of weather [emoji6]

Momma, happy anniversary! :) Yep, after the 25 yr mark, things can be taken kind of slow and comfortable. Ha!

Went out on back deck for.....5 minutes......That was enough!

Been fiddling with the Kanger Subtank's RBA deck. Got it going with a 28 gauge 6 wraps, cotton (that came with it) 1.01 build. Was wondering why I was having so much trouble situating the coil between the posts and getting the legs screwed down. On top of everything the cotton tails weren't going the right way and had to push the tails to the wicking holes!

Anyway, got the thing going. Vaping at a whole 13 watts (still a Tootle Puffer). No leaks, gurgles, or other mishaps and decided to revisit some "how to" videos to zero in on the finer details. Nothing like feeling stupid! Had the coil ends facing the wrong way! No wonder the hard time securing those legs. Ma-a-a-an! Shoot, my ill devised coil setup is still working though. Ha! Gonna get me a couple more of those clear bell caps too. They look so good with a Molehill tip on top. :)

Next comes the OCC rebuild.....Think I ought to watch Rip Trippers video again.....several times. LOL

Congrats moma, that's quite an accomplishment in today's world.

Chooch, I now love the sub tank mini. Haven't done well re-wicking the occ coils yet, but the rba head is a cinch. I have only used the supplied coils, but re-wicking is so easy, and the vape is the best I've had since I started vaping. My nautiluses have been collecting dust lately.

Hey, Kilowatt! :) Have already done the rewicking of the OCC thing, and now the RBA coiling thing.....even tho bassackwards. Next the OCC total rebuild. Read on a thread a fella used his 30 gauge and wrapped to 1.8 ohms on the deck like he would normally do on his other toppers to see what would happen. He is a Tootle Puffer too and it worked out great. So, there's hope for me yet. Practice, practice, practice.

I do like the options that all my tanks give me....even still use my ProTanks and Davides with my rebuilt coils. The Nauty's I never learned to rebuild the vertical coil adequately although others do just fine. Didn't stick at it long enough I guess. But, I do so love my decorated Bedazzle glass; so use the Nauty's when I'm trying to impress people. Ha!

Started off buying one Subtank to learn about it and to see if it could be used for my style of vaping. Definitely wanted something that was rebuildable plus being able to buy the ready made coils. Hubby has since won 2 more, so it behooves me to get on the ball and learn what they can do.......or I can do! So far am pleased and feel these will be easy to deal with. Time will tell. LOL

I sure remember that. At first they were the ultimate back up and security blanket. Then they became something I would just laugh at when I'd open the glove box and see them there. Eventually, the humor wore off and I just gave them away, well after a year had passed. Then I found more hidden in a suitcase I hadn't used in ages.

Congrats and well wishes for the various anniversaries and a speedy recover to those a bit ailing or still on the mend.

I surely say the one year anniversary is an accomplishment worthy of praise. On the months that followed I eventually realized that I not only knew I wouldn't smoke again, I also realized that I really didn't want to. I sure wish the same for everyone here....however long it took or takes.
