G'morning all! Strange thing happened last night......Power went off! That's not strange. What was totally brand new different was that the house phone, the one TV that has the box for HD and the connection for the computers! The rest of the TV's worked and I could read by lamplight just fine. We have fiber optics and seldom have a problem. This was a new one for 600 house neighborhood.

Dale has lost over 20 pounds since sometime late last year

Dale - you didn't lose them - I found those 20 lbs for you. For a long time, I didn't think I was gaining any weight after stopping smoking but I was wrong. Again.

So Siri - I've officially gotten notice that I'm officially bonafide. But I forgot to ask, what exactly does that mean??

Bonafide = Has at least one Segmented tip... Doug invented the process for making the blocks to make segmented tips out of.
The "REAL DEAL" only comes from Doug..the Paterfamilias of the Mountaineers..Our ol' Dad!

It's raining here in Oklahoma the creeks are flooded...abd the roads are too. Think we are headed home tomorrow. Will be nice to sleep in my own bed.

Thanks everyone. That segmented tip is on its way to me now. I can't believe all the different kind of woods that can be in there listed on my email. I can't wait to see it!! Splat - very cool we'll have matching tips.

This darned thread is all full of food pics today. I'm hungry and need to look into dinner I guess.

DS - I read about the flooding in OK. There's a strip of highway closed between DFW and OKC due to a large rock slide. Hope you have a safe trip home. There's no place like home.

Seems like alot of folks are seeing flooding! Send just a little bit our way, minus the flooding part[emoji6] As this rate, we may go into a drought here....Hotter than usual as well, which is fine by me. [emoji6] y'all know how I hate winter [emoji12]
