Oh chooch! One day I was angry at my son and started in on him... wagging my finger at him and everything... and that boy looked DOWN at me and started laughing!!! How did I miss that he was so much taller than me by that point? I did the only think I could think of and yanked out a kitchen chair and stood on it to continue my scolding.

Momma, I'd forgotten Big Bird! Torch looks fantastic with it.
Sirius, think you're right about pin your ears being a "southern thing". Never heard that phrase in my northern and midwestern extended family.......I did get my ears "pierced" for my 5th birthday 1949. That was a Calif. fad thing back then.

Chooch, when I saw that tip, first I couldn't believe it hadn't been snagged and second, I knew that it was meant for Big Bird lol Really sets off that black cap on the Stumpy too. [emoji1]
I have a wide variety of mods, some elegant hand made woods and then there are a couple of wild thangs in the mix [emoji6]

Sweets Momma...Awesome squonker Big Bird is..That tip just fits.
Chooch,..Yep southern as the day is long..So is "Bless your heart", that's a double meaning thing and Momma,..you know which one I meant.
I loved growing up in the deep south..So much has changed now though. No more ear yanking for one thing and all the wood sheds are closed.
Oh yeah "Bless your heart" can mean many things that only we southerners can fully understand [emoji12][emoji1] It's all in the delivery lol
And I agree....things have really changed....some good and some not so good.
