He passed 3 days before Xmas. He had been in the hospital, and later when I chatted up the nurses, they told me he was singing 5 minutes before they found him.. gone.

Good morning Mountaineers! I love the favorite Christmas song idea Kayte! My birds love it when I start singing songs, especially the Christmas ones for some reason. Maybe because they are easy to sing. I love a lot of them...not sure what my favorite is. I will have to ponder that.
On the right is a red tailed hawk I asked her to make. I came to find out one day and many times since, that red tailed hawks are one of my totems.One day this huge female landed right smack in front of me while I was standing on the step to my front porch. I could have reached out and touched her. Their eyes are amazing. Cool stuff.
Not sure why I felt chilled yesterday as I am feeling fine now. I cannot be sick, you are right! I have a date night coming up!
I got a slew of vape mail yesterday! Including my lovely new spalted Tamarind drip tip! Thank you Kayte and Doug!
My beautiful new Provari Stealth arrived. It is awesome. And... the two chalices arrived from two different places. I am a happy 
today.

Thank you Momma. A wonderful lady on FB makes them, and she has a website too . Those are her photos of them set up before she shipped them. In the first photo on the left is Elliot our Netherland Dwarf bunny that I found in a cage in the hot sun, in the CVS parking lot with no food or water. Then Heartly, one of the loves of my life.

A quick hello before I dive into my big ol' Black Friday box from Amazon..... KD finally got a new computer!!! Now let the fun begin (set up).
I so appreciate your thoughts, but looking back on it now, I don't feel sadness at all. I thought it was pure perfection for him to leave in the way he did..... with a song in his heart, and headed for "home". I'm smiling thinking about him, so as KS always says,,, smile (with me)!

I like the way you think of it...I'm like that when I think about my mom...although I miss her so very much, I no longer look at the holidays with sadness, instead now I have incorporated a lot of the traditions that she used to do, and made them part of my own traditions for my family....I feel like I'm carrying on for her, and if I can be anything close to what she was to all of us, then it's a very good thing!

Gracie and I went to the nursing home today to visit our friends. Here she is all packed up in my vehicle in a crate with her little coat on. She can only wear her PetPartners vest while visiting so she wasn't happy when the coat came off! It's a wee bit cold today She seemed a little off today tho-sometimes she has phantom pain where her leg was amputated and the cold weather seems to aggravate it. Fortunately it doesn't happen often and she still enjoyed herself
And KS-that spaulted tamarind tip is awesome!!! I have the perfect little mod for it made from the ST and panduak from ecigworkshop. It's a little 350 mech. Fun little mod!

I sortof need a new laptop and the windows 8 is what has been holding me back. Not looking forward to the switch when I do. So I keep limping the old one along. LOL

I purposely went and bought a new windows 7, my hubby has 8 and complains about it all the time. My son has 8 too, but he used Classic Shell to get back some of the 7 features.
I am fighting the holiday blues a little bit. I lost my Dad when I was in my teens during November, and my Mom just 9 days before Christmas 1999 to an auto accident, I was decorating my tree when I got the call. Life does go on, and there is plenty to be thankful for each and every day, but somehow the holidays can catch me off guard and tenderhearted. I hate to admit it, but that Bing Crosby version of White Christmas hits me like a brick, I can't listen to it at all. I'll be looking forward to Christmas party announcements and sparkly pick me ups.
Hugs all around for whoever needs them.
