Hi folks =) Not a lot of chance to catch up, but I am happy to report that we have arrived at our vacation destination, way down in south Texas! We passed up a lot of
vape shops, since I have pretty much everything I might find at one, and finally pulled in to the ranch. Three days on the road, but worth every mile to be here. I love this place...it is our third December visit, and the first one we've found time to spend a whole week at the ranch.
First thing, after unloading all the Things, it was time for a little dip in the compound pool. While the menfolk played with all their new guns from the last year together, I edged my aching body into the cool waters for a good soak. I think my knee has forgiven me for all the travelling!
After I dried off it was time to set up the electronics! Trip batteries charging, drip mod ready, password secured...
Surprise, four bars of wireless internet awaited my laptop! I sure hope the family understands that I'm *taken* for the holiday tipfest.

Looking forward immensely to some rugged Texas pics of the tips...yes, they all came with me, and are clamoring for a peek at the wild out of doors. Sun comes up early here, so I will hit the hay early to take advantage of this unfrozen wonderland.
BTW, I know what Bangers are, but not the rest of the stuff you ate over there. I mean "Gin and It"?

Can't tell you how weird it is to see him all grown up with a wife and two baby girls.
