Sirius I have the same problem with my Mrs.Barbara, she has Humana also.We have resorted to asking her GP to give us approved names from his list.So far so good, it has bin working pretty well for the most part.
Running from one office to the next card in hand is not option that i will even concider with her being wheelchair bound.
I have seen enough this past week again that I have to be at death door befor you drag me to a doctor.
I don't have that luxury as I'm almost on deaths door as it is..(living on borrowed time). I have several things going on atm..I'll get by I'm sure..but I won't take this red tape lying down. As soon as I calm down a bit..Humama is hearing from me...and that nurse advocate!
Thnx both of my FL friends..Splat and Smiley..was getting frustrated but my nurse advocate..(oddly also from FL) just called me back with two phone numbers.
One for a cardiologist another for a general practitioner and ..(can't really believe my luck here) both at Athens Regional Medical Services just down the road in Bethlehem.
Not far at all as the crow barks..only 10 miles or so. Thnx again guys for the positive thoughts sent out there. I really needed those.
Good Cardiologists that don't milk you for this and that tests are hard to come by. It's past time for a cath so that will be done I'm sure..but these way too often stress tests using those drugs that make you feel like you're running about the house like a madman while on a table on your back are not at all comfortable..or cheap. I really hate those ones.
Glad things are working out Sirius with your insurance and doctors. Was worried about that! The medical field and it's service is a whole different ballgame now and it's not for the better. [emoji19]

Sirius, I'm glad you got the insurance thing straightened out...that really had me all ticked off seeing what they were doing. But I'm glad it worked out for you in the end.
Beautiful tips last night! Thought for sure there wouldn't be any left, but to my happy surprise, Big Easy was just sitting there waiting on me this afternoon! I have a short one of the same name already, but this one just called to me. Nice way to start off my 5 day weekend!
