Momma, it may not have anything to do with purchasing vaping stuff. Since most of my purchases on line are related to vaping, I, of course, think right away they're messin' with my vape! Trying to sort all this out without having next to zilch knowledge about electronic transfers of cash and who's on first and what's on second, this experience is taking me for a roller coaster ride alright. :nah:

What really pisses me off, it that Kayte & Doug nor I were informed of a "limit" to being a "guest"; and even though IF I did get an account with them, I would not be selling anything that Paypal could take a "cut" of like they do with Kayte & Doug's business account. Paypal would not make any $$$ off of me, so why must I set up an account with them thatt includes all my personal info to be a customer of Molehill Mountain? Using gift cards avoids my personal info being "out there" to be hacked by someone in Romania.......or the NSA....Take your pick. :p

Sirius, I do wish I could still make those moves......in the wee morning hrs., but an hr. of moping floors usually sends me to bed by 9 p.m.

Thanks, Dale. :) This figuring out card stuff is truly a "cluster" and my poor old timey brain is having a hard time wrapping itself around what's allowed and what's not especially when the "powers that be" aren't specifically clear.......Kinda like reading a chinese manual for your cell phone.

With no PayPal account now..I simply entered my debit card number on the MhM site..Yes, my purchase goes to K&D by way of PayPal, but from my bank not a dedgum PayPal account. Plus, Wells Fargo will catch anything shifty going on. And they did with PayPal charging to my savings. They instantly stopped payment. That was on the ( add $30 to my PayPal) to pay my ECF Supporting Member charge. I had to re-do that one. But unless the option of Credit Card without PayPal is added to Supporting Members account. This is my last year doing so.
Sorry to be a pin in the ECF balloon, but it is what it is.

Afternoon, guys!!:D I'm a tad late I see, but have a good excuse!

Didn't hit the sack 'til about 4:30 this morning having made a break through at least with my older gift cards with balances still on them. When I got on Chrome and bought something totally unrelated to vaping AND it worked! :w00t: I just got all excited and tried next time to buy from MFS which doesn't use Paypal but I still had trouble completing order. On Chrome it worked!!! Then, what the hey, go for broke and try over at SweetVapes. Ta da-a-a-ah!!! So, as it stands, my OLD cards work on Chrome with businesses NOT using Paypal.

Today will be busy trying the new cards on Chrome on non Paypal sites. I hope not, but have a suspicion that I have a separate "issue" with those cards bought at a newly opened store. I'm really slow at this stuff, so may take a while. BTW, last night was the latest I've been up intentionally .......for a "generation"! [emoji14]

Meanwhile, Sirius, so happy you got to "talk" with your mom again. Did you tell her about your vaping and your new vaping buds?

Dale, the coffee with chocolate candy is great, and having it in France is pret-ty good too. :D
Actually Chooch, Momma looked like she did when I was a small child. I was me like now, old and in bad health. She was going to go teach her Sunday School class. Asked me to come along. Odd dream for sure!

That's a pretty if hazy picture of your mom, Sirius. :) My mom had her dark hair styled the exact same way back then. When I look at young adults in pictures of the 1940's and 50's, they for the most part seem thin and hollow cheeked. Growing up during the Depression, then the rationing of WWII and no fast food places and convenience foods to cook does limit caloric intake. :p

Well, the newer gift cards that seemed to have a problem called "AVS mismatch" which was caused by something changing to all caps my st. address, city and adding the extra four digits to zip code. Now that I'm aware that Paypal no longer welcomes me and to check the gift card accounts and how typed before purchases, I got a handle on this. :D Just used a "problem card" purchasing coils at Sweet Vapes and it went thru. ........I'd save up the cards that had balances of $2 to $10 and make my way over to CASAA to donate several at once. Only recently found out that ECF could take gift cards thru Paypal.....and still can, but I've reached their "limit". :grr:

Yes! The teased bouffant! Oh, man, do I remember trying to get "volume" to my thin fine locks while all our moms had to do was kind of "push" their hair up! Of course, a proper perm helped......Your mom looks pensive.....Something on her mind. Lovely looking lady, Sirius. :)

Mom didn't smile a lot..She would often get tickled and try to suppress it..Born into a strict Methodist Church family ..Old Methodist not United. That woman had the thickest hair of anyone I've ever seen..and would get dressed like she was going to church just to go to the mail box!

Different times and different dress codes depending on where you lived, Sirius. When hubbs and I moved from Atlanta to Greenwood, S.C. in 1977, I was informed that the ladies of that town had stopped wearing white gloves to church only a few years before. :)

Believe that's where "dress in layers" got started.....from us...ahem.....more mature wemins. I never did hear from my elder female relatives about this stuff continuing beyond "the change"..... just not as much. :(
Mom told me it never ends

It took a while to realize that whenever I took a Tylenol for my aches and pains before going to bed it also took care of the hot/cold situation too. Since I didn't take it every night, it was a gamble on getting a good night's sleep......but I always like living on the "edge". Ha! :)

Hi, Sirius. :) Waitin' on some "in coming" too. Today the Pink Sparkle Stars should come in.....because it didn't yesterday! :( It sure would have made me feel better whilst going through the Paypal thingy stuff.....OTOH, I bought a few more items just "trying" out my other gift cards.....You know, to see if they'd work. Ha! :)
