It's chilly and rainy and dreary outside, but I'm a happy Mountaineer inside! Pink Sparkle Stars came in and it's everything I imagined it would be. :hubba: It's mainly a clear tip you can see through the pink with holographic stars with surrounding glitter, then on the opposite side of the mesh with holes it's more purply with the larger silver sparkles. The mesh is in layers, has holes clear through, white on the flat sides and black at the edges to when it waves and folds the layers will sometimes separate like the pages of a book! :w00t: Got it right now sitting on top of a swirly white enamel Bedazzle tank sitting on top of my white ProVari. Next will try it on the pink skinned subox......then there's the black......Oh, and the purple!......The wash can wait. This tip gives me my lines, the color, the bling and the action all rolled into one. Wonderful work, Kayte.

Hi, Momma.:) Off work today.....or in a lull? You getting this rain too? :nah:

Sirius, can't wait for you to get that tip. I want you to tell me about the bit of red one of the chips has. :p

In a lull chooch. We are still getting bits of rain here and there [emoji12] We need things to dry out or everything is going to rot! Lol

Hi all! This day has flown by! And we've not gotten a lick of work done. Well... no tip work, anyway.

I'm afraid there won't be any tips tonight.

However, you should see 'parts' of my house. Box and clutter free! I'm gloating over the amount of work I got done this week, sorting through and getting rid of my sisters things. (That sounds terrible, doesn't it? ) I did ship two large boxes to her, though. I'll let them sort that out at the nursing home. :pervy::thumbs: It's funny how with each box that left, I felt a little less stressed.

We're in dire need of a trip to the grocery store, so I guess we'll be heading that direction shortly. I hope you all have a great evening (even if it is tipless. ) Hopefully we'll be back in full swing starting Monday. Boy am I looking forward to taking a break from everything tomorrow!

Chooch - I just loved that tip. So many interesting aspects to it! I'm glad to hear it arrived home! I'm also glad you were able to use your cards! As for us... you know we're just fine with a check... or cash... or whatever. We won't let paypal stand in our way! :glare: ;)

I'd sure like a nap, but guess I should go find a pair of shoes and get groceries. Oh wait! I get to buy fun things, too! We're doing the Journey Bag Initiative. It's where you fill up a back pack with things for kids that have been removed from their homes and put into foster care. Most of the time they're taken with nothing but what they're wearing. As they're moved around in the foster system, they just throw whatever they've accumulated into a trash bag to go to the next place. A trash bag! Because of this, they're often called 'trash bag kids'. Can you imagine?? So... this is an organized effort to provide these kids with a back pack of their own, along with a stuffed animal, jammies, tooth brushes, hair care stuff, socks, etc. I love doing this kind of thing, so it'll be fun and make dragging my hiney to wally world easier.:banana::banana:

Have to share this: just before the 'move date' for our 'newest' granddaughter, my daughter and son inlaw took her shopping and bought her a suitcase... because they didn't want her to have to put her things in a trash bag one more time. They wanted her to feel taken care of and loved. Angel was so excited, but then the 'idea' of it hit her and there she was... an eleven year old girl, sitting on the floor in the suitcase isle of Target, with tears streaming down her face. She was so overwhelmed that she would have her very own suitcase and would never be a trash bag kid again.

And on that note... off I go! :)

Katye, your previous post made me tear up
What a precious thing to do for a foster child!

Ruby came in today, she's gorgeous ... love all those jewel like colors

:p Well, I went and fell asleep! When I woke up and realized what I did, panic set in. :( I rush to 'puter to see what I missed and see your desert drink and cookies, Dale. That took a few minutes to sample before getting to Kayte's post and see all that she did today.......Do I ever feel guilty. How do I take a nap when she's so busy? Then there's the "tug at the heartstrings" last paragraph. Dale, am with you. Need a hanky. :)

Had a busy weekend...Bf took me to me to the vape expo here in NOLA yesterday and we had a blast! Got lots of juice, several free and some good deals on the rest, and he got me these 2 mods too...the little blue one is so teeny, tiny...I've never seen one this small, it's so adorable!! The pink one he snuck off and got me while I wasn't looking because he knew I wanted the pink...turns out he got great deals on both of them...got them for less than half the price than they're selling for online! It was a really fun day! :D
