On GrimGreen's comments:

1.) Catch-cup: I have mine made with a smaller one, just ask Tom;
2.) Loose battery: Tom's new one's have a magnet for the top battery part, no issues;
3.) Atty not centred: mine also has that, but ... it is hand-made and does not make the unit perform any less;
4.) Heaviness: I love it, not flimsy, real wood, no problemos, I use it everywhere...anytime
5.) Great to change the voltage as the atties change resistants over time, big plus +
6.) Website: The Wooder Man - Custom Wooden Electronic Cigarettes

Side note: use AW IMR's they can take the load perfectly, other batties will be stressed too much

Sorry, this was my very first review, and I did have my volume on medium on my camera!! I have fixed that for future reviews, but all in all ... Yep I LOVE it!! LOL

I think you can ask for a smaller one ... The one in this review was in his first released group, before he did engravings, and upgraded the feeding systems. My VV has a larger well (but that is my preference) and the Mini doesn't have the well above the wood, it is recessed and drilled out in the endcaps. I am not sure if Studio asked for a smaller cup or if they are all like that now ... but either way Tom trys to make it exactly how you want it if he can, so however you prefer ... just ask! ;-)

Oh WOW!!! That is beautiful!!! The purple heart has been one of the few woods I have yet to try. I have tried to get different woods every time and even with 5 boxes, haven't got them all yet! LOL I am definitely going to go with it next time!! So ... how you liking it so far??? Kitty likes it huh?? haha

I like it a lot. The size doesn't bother me... it's actually quite light.
The only problem I have had was my first run through filling and installing the bottle... basil ray's video and AG helped me along.

I am impressed with the feeding system... every draw is pretty amazing... didn't expect such perfection.

Yeah, the feeding can be a bit tricky, but when it is broken in a bit and you do it a few more times, it gets much easier. The only thing I make sure I am super careful with is when I pull the needle out of the tube ... I hold the tube with one hand and wiggle the needle out with the other. I hear the tubing is easy to put back in, but knocking on my Monkeyboxx ... I haven't had to do that yet! Now aren't you glad you waited for your very own personalized box?? LOL I know most hate the wait (as did I when waiting for mine) but when you do get one, it seems to be quite understandable with the amount of work that goes into making them all pretty! haha Plus Tom should be getting back into the 3 week wait time soon. You will have to keep me posted on your VV!!

Can someone post some prices here for the MonkeyBoxx and the mini if there is such a thing, and also maybe give a link to the MonkeyBoxx site?

I think the website may be down still, but the Mini would run you about $90 I believe. Tom was talking about having to raise prices some in the future, but you can PM him through here, and get all the questions answered about pricing and engraving.

The opening of his thread should give you an idea of how to order right now, but PM'ing I think is the only way to order until he gets the website back up and running.

Thanks for the replies. I'll check now and then for his site to open up again. Do you know how much a regular MonkeyBoxx costs and the difference in size with the Mini?

There are 4 sizes available now. Mini, regular, VV, and Kong. I am not sure of the exact measurements, but you can sort of see them from this picture. Starting on the right, it is a Mini, then the regular, then the Kong, then the VV, and another Mini. The Mini holds a 3ml bottle, the regular and VV hold a 6ml, and the Kong holds a 20ml bottle. The VV is a little more narrow, is a bit thicker than the regular. Prices were 90$ Mini, $120 Reg., $195 VV, and $225 for Kong. I love every single one of mine and would be very hard pressed to give a favorite. The mini is probably the most comfortable, but they don't have an on/off switch. If you plan on toting it with you a lot, you have a get a stopper to slide in so it doesn't activate. All others have an on/off switch. If you want more info ... I could email Tom and find out where he is at with ordering and website. Ohhh, he is also offering a plastic Kong (named Donkey Kong) that is really neat also. It is the same size and concept as my wooden Kong, but is only $85! As big as the Kong is, I have found it perfectly comfortable to use ... and carry it with me EVERYWHERE I go. I only charge the batteries every 4 or 5 days, and the juice also will last me all week. This is a VV so it is the most reliable, versatile, work horse. If the size doesn't scare you ... the Donkey Kong would be a very affordable bottom feeding VV mod to try out.

Hope this helps ... and just let me know if you are wanting to order sooner, I can shoot an email and find out what the order times are looking like.

Also, the wooden Kong has a digital readout on the top part so you can see it as you are vaping. The plastic Kong has clear plastic, so the digital readout is on the side like the regular VV.
