Here are 2 more questions I have:

1.) how long does a 30ml bottle (or any size bottle really; 6ml, 10ml, 15ml, etc) last compared to analog cigs. By this I mean is 1ml the equivalent to 1 analog? Would a 30 ml bottle be the same as 30 analog smokes? Maybe more or less?

2.) when buying blank carts to drip your e juice: Do you need 1 blank cart for each flavor I'm assuming? If I ordered 15 flavors and even sample bottles wold i need a fresh unused blank to drip it in?

If you are truly interested in price for the long haul, you might consider DIY. Just like hardware, you can get out of control buying everything under the sun. But, with a little discipline, you can find yourself making great juice for substantially less than you'll get from vendors.

There is of course some upfront cost: glassware, pipettes, and product to experiment with, but if you read a bit of the DIY forum, take it slow and start with a simple "I just want to make a nice blueberry", you'll do well.

I was going to lay out the math, but suffice to say even using more expensive flavorings you're going to easily be able to make some great juices for <$.20/ml.

I use about 3 - 4 mls (12mg) a day but some use as much as 6 - 8 mls a day. it depends on whether you chain vape or just take a few toots every five or ten minutes. (FYI - A standard cartomizer holds approximately 1 ml of liquid)

When trying new liquids I always use a fresh cart. That way the new liquid isn't muddled by a previous flavor and I can experience it exclusively.:D

Here is a spreadsheet that another member put together with eliquid pricing. eliquid Pricing

On another note, the BEST that I have found it MadVapes TopVapor. All others that I have tried (minus V4L which is kind of expensive) just taste perfumy. UGH!! I think it may have something to do with the flavoring that MadVapes uses, it is alcohol based and very clean tasting. My real everyday liquid is Dekang USA Mix and Dekang Menthol. I buy the 50ml bottles from MadVapes also and they are about the cheapest you can get at $11 for 50ml

If you get some MadVapes TopVapor, DEFINITELY try the Root Beer.

1: you should get much more out of 1ml than an analog worth, I think the common thinking is something like 6 or more analogs per standard prefilled cart which I believe holds about 1ml. Somebody feel free to correct me. I used to get about a day out of a cart, now I'm around 2-3ml/day, but that's after stepping down from 18 to 12mg (time to step up again).

2: If you're going to sample flavors a lot (even if you're not), consider picking up atomizers and dripping. Much easier and cheaper than filling a whole cart with each flavor. Once you really like one, then you can dedicate some equipment to it.

thanks kooky.

so since I use the SI Volt, they have blank carts for $9 for a pack of 5. then i "drip" the juice into the cart or atty (sorry if my terminology sucks). but what Im getting at is if i buy a bunch of 5ml sample bottles i need to use a new cartomizer for each one so you dont mix flavors. but it seems like a waste of an expensive blank cart just to experiment with one 5ml bottle or flavor. any suggestions???

Best way to taste them is drip onto an atty. either get a 501 atomizer and a 808-501 adapter, or make your own. You can carefully remove the filler from an old cartomizer and then drip a couple of drops into it and vape.

Vape dudes also has a good deal if it's your first order. You can get 10ml for $3.59 by using code "vapedudes". You can also get a free 10ml bottle with code "fbfree", but to use that code you may want to order earlier in the day because they only give out a certain amount per day. They also offer free shipping, and the flavors are good. Buttery nipple is my favorite, if you like butterscotch.
BTW, I was considering ordering from Catskills Mountain and decided against it based on my research, I'd recommend caution.

using both codes together i got 2 bottles for .70 total

Ok, you don't have to use a different carto for each, but you will get crossover. Once you like a juice, yes dedicate a carto to it.

As for how long a bottle will last, it depends on how much you vape. 1 ml of juice should give you the equivalent of 6-10 analogs for puffing (not absorbed nicotine) if you are using cartos. I am a very heavy vaper. I use 2-4 ml a day depending on how long I'm home. In average, a 30 ml bottle should last you at least 10-15 days.

Does anyone have any experience/ opinions on Vapor4Life (V4L)?

So far I've ordered from VapeDudes (with a first time 40% off code) and ECBlends. Both very good.

I'll definitely re-order from these two vendors but some others I was considering based on cost, positive reviews, selection, and coupons were:

-Nite Lite Vapor
-MadVapes
-V4L
-Mom & Pop Vapor Shop
-Kick Bass Vapor

Suggestions or Comments??
