Welp... I finally pulled the trigger.

I went from Egos to an Evic. Mostly because of the price, the fact that I could buy it locally, and because it was VW. Now I have gone from the Evic to a Provari Mini..... I am a little afraid of buyers regret though.... thats a whole bunch of money!! I sure hope it is worth it!!

Honestly though, I havent been super impressed with the evic. Here are some of my gripes:

1) It constantly turns itself off and I have to go through the whole "power on" deal constantly. And no, its not just going into sleep mode...
2) There is a 0.5-2 second gap between when I hit the fire button and it actually starts firing
3) It doesnt seem to pick up the the resistance very of the atty consistently. Sometimes it just picks up my 1.8ohm atty at 1.8ohm, then 5 minutes later it shows it at 3.0ohm, etc... Not always, but sometimes.

Heck, one of the big reasons I went with the evic was because of the VW feature, and I never even use it. I always keep it on VV.

The best thing about this device is the battery meter on it. :)

Anyway, my tracking number says that my new provari should be delivered tomorrow! I sure hope it is worth it!!

You won't regret a thing - they really are fantastic devices. When you look into the Provari subthread there are people talking about music, new toys for their Provaris, how things work, etc.

When you look into the eVic thread its generally more, controller head stopped working, this broke, that broke, everything stopped working.

I've made a lot of poor purchasing decisions in my past, especially regarding e-cigs - but trust me, me Provari(s) won't ever give me a sour taste of regret.

you wont regret it. I started off with an ego too. I've also made a lot of ecig mistakes regarding purchases. My wife and I use provaris. I love my mech mods but if im out and about. I always have my provari. Battery life is great and it works great from a fresh batt to a not so fresh batt. It's hassle free and keeps on ticking. I'll bring my mechs if im hanging with friends or having coffee somewhere but when I'm at work and need something hassle free. You wont regret it. The build quality is better than the evic too. Solid !

No I have not gotten it yet. Tracking still shows it stuck in Alaska and the expected delivery date was June 27th.
I think I'm getting worried. So much for having it for the weekend.

Well, the problem might be your address. There are many "Somewhere over>>>>>>>>>>>>there"s all over the world. Miss a couple of ">>>"s and the package goes to a village in Borneo.

I better change my location to "Getting closer to my home" then.:facepalm:

Actually it spent 3 days in Alaska. Then it came to the capital city of my state which is 30 miles away at 3am. Left there at 7am the same day but didn't make it to my local PO!? My carrier didn't have it with him so I went down to the PO and they didn't have it there. This is the toughest package I ever had try to get to me.

Oh well, I thought I would have it for the weekend but...Monday could turn out to be a very good day.;)

It is definitely worth it. I love my Provari mini. I just gave it a full alcohol bath last week due to a bad juice spill  hehe... It works great again, like the day I first got it. Congrats on your decision!

I am dreading the day I have to do that. I know it's okay. Gonna feel pretty weird doing it. The fix has worked 3 out of 4 times it has been attempted that I have heard of. The one failure was because the issue was beyond a bath fix....

It's all been said, but you will very likely be very happy. If not ill take if off your hands for a 50% discount, so no worries ;)

I had an evic for awhile, I wound up giving it away. It looked pretty cool, but you said it, the number one thing that drove me batsh** was how it constantly turned itself off! Why does it do that lol? Saving the battery? I dunno but having to click it 5 or 7 or whatever every other vape was seriously annoying. I even wondered if I just had a vaping rhythm that put me just over the cutoff every time lol. It seems like a petty thing but it was what finally drove me to give it away, and then you posted the very same gripe!

But seriously you'll love the provari, mainly because there is basically nothing to not like about it:) enjoy and let is know!

I had to stretch my spring and it took care of that. Only when I put it down with excess force is it an issue. Of course, my ProVari has it playing second fiddle now....

I also ordered one as well and I agree... No Alaska No Alaska...

Yup, mine spent 3 days there, and to think I myself have never been there but my ProVari has!
It landed in a city about 30 miles north of me, now I see it went to a city about 30 miles south of me. No kidding. It must have been driven right almost through my town. I should have it by Monday though. Monday isn't a holiday is it?
