Hi the vaping a Joyetech 510 T Auto 220 bat for 4 months now. I was thinking of up grading but do NOT want to go to BIG i want to keep mine small. So thinking the eroll or ecab. Any help with this would be wonerful. What are the pros and cons of both?

eRoll rocks in my opinion. Super choice for small portable device.

The battery is small but that is no issue with the nice pcc that is probably the best pcc on the market in every way.

The only negative is the small tank size which means that you will likely have to carry a small juice bottle or a small pill box of pre-filled tanks.

It has my highest recommendation as a small device/system.

Tycm Junkman :) now is there a bigger tank i could buy ?

They are proprietary so unfortunately no. Possible they may soon come out with a larger tank or an adapter. I believe the reason for the small tank is because they thought it would be enuff juice for the battery life BUT vapers are now taking a few puffs and placing it back in the PCC for recharging.

I like small as well, and I like tough to break too.

Here's my solution.... The size of fat ball point pen or a marker pen.

It's an ego-t battery with a collar on it and a vision mini vivi nova mounted on it. I believe it's 600 mah and lasts me 6-8 hours on a charge. I charge 2 batteries every night, I put one on the nova in the morning and just bring a spare batt and a 10ml bottle with me if I'm going to be out and about for 12 hours or so.

I also swapped out the clear tank for an aluminum tank for even more durability as the threads on the plastic tanks must be handled with care and strip out rather easily. My main reason was that I do not carry around bags, just as I wear zero jewelry and not even a watch, and I got tired of breaking ecigs and such in rough usage as I do a lot of outside work, mechanical work, carpentry etc. and I need small tough and convenient. I don't like carrying big stuff around, nor do I like carrying a charger or several batteries, I can live with carrying one in my pocket (turned off) and the whole rig in a pocket as well.

The vivi mini nova holds 2.5ml and is very easy to disassemble and clean, very easy to replace atomizer heads in it at a couple bucks per new head, heads are available in several resistances, and with the aluminum tanks its very unbreakable and I have zero worries about what juices might break down a plastic tank. They are also one of the easiest clearo/tanks to manually make your own diy wicks and coils for as well which I do.

The whole rig is about 5 and half inches long and just over a half inch in diameter, and just drops into my pocket in my jeans and won't break even if I put it in my back pocket and sit on it, or drop it and step on it. Easy to stealth vape as well, and it's never very conspicuous. I have had zero leaking issues, though you do need a rather small tipped bottle or it's easy to get juice in the center of the atomizer when filling that you simply have to blow out before screwing the batt on.

Downside is that you can't see how much juice is inside with the aluminum tank, you have to learn to judge when you should be getting low..

Some have wicking issues with the novas, and dip the tip down and such to keep wicks wet. I find this is only an issue if you don't vape with it level and horizontal, I always vape with it level and horizontal and have no such issues.

Anyway, there are many options for a decent small setup that is convenient and easy to use, clean and rebuild, this is just the one I have settled on, at least for now, for the best size, durability and function I could get in such a small package.

Starlight 1818, a few thoughts?

Although the eRoll is intriguing, there are a few gotcha's that kept me away from this:

1. The 90mah batteries. If you are more than a casual vaper, you will by necessity be charging the hell out of them. I can't see the life-span of these batteries being very great unless you are a very casual vaper.

2. The tank capacity. There simply is not enough volume to carry you through the day...or even a large portion of it...which brings up #3...

3. The PCC design. The PCC for the eRoll is an integral part of the system based on the very small battery. The problem is that with no storage for more than one battery & tank, you have no practical way to carry enough vaping capacity to get you through a normal day, which to me, absolutely negates the portability. Who wants to carry a bottle of ejuice around or extra tanks?

I would recommend going to Spinfuel (Spinfuel eCigs Magazine | The Art of Vaping) and checking out reviews, particularly the 777 Bullet. Although a bit larger than a typical cigalike, it still is very reasonable. With a 320mah battery with high output, 1.3ml capacity clearomizer, and good value ($49.95 gets you 2 batts/clearomizers etc.) its a solution that works well for hours of on the go quality vaping.

You could go even smaller with a Panda Evolve, but the weaker (230mah), lower output batteries combined with a lower capacity .9ml clearomizer make me wonder if it would be a step up at all from what you already have. Closer to a cigalike with a mini-clearomizer.

Halo is just coming out with the Triton, an even more robust (certainly heftier than the Bullet) model, the Triton, with a 650mah eGo type battery and a sizeable 2.4ml tank (coils are replaceable). This might be large for what you are asking about however.

And with some mesh building the nova will last through the next 3 apocalypses.

I just use a few bucks worth of wick and wire to rebuild my atmoizer heads, I haven't been able to get a mesh wick to work well in it yet. I haven't tried that hard though really. I am sitting with some 450 mesh ss in front of me from last nights 2 attempts at doing so. But I haven't modified a head to open it up for a larger wick yet either, which I'll try next. My brother sold me on trying it though after using his genesis with ss wick. It does go against my simple to use and rebuild attitude though.

Mesh is barely any harder than silica or cotton to make into wicks, and probably lasts longer than the battery itself.

Modding the head is as easy as popping a pair of scissors in there and just wiggle until it opens up.

My failure in doing a mesh wick is getting a good U shape that will fit in the mini tank, not kinking the mesh while doing so, and keeping a hot spot off the coil while doing so. But like I said I have only tried a few times and I'm sure I could get the hang of it if I worked at it a bit more. Silica wicks or cotton or something is loads easier, and just buying the new heads for a couple of bucks is easier yet for someone who has no desire to wind their own coils on their own wicks which is most people.

I'll get a good ss wick to work in mine sometime, but it's an advanced topic that didn't seem relevant to what the OP was looking for..
