Well for the setup I posted the pic of with the dollar bill you would need these..

Battery, this isnt the one I have, but the 650 mah one is almost identical.. https://www.canvape.com/product-p/gsbat-c.htm

Clearomizer tank... https://www.canvape.com/product-p/vivi2.0.htm

The aluminum tank I replaced the clear plastic one with, again I'm rough on mine.. https://www.canvape.com/product-p/minimetal.htm

And the little collar to mate them up nicely, you don't have to have it but it looks better and makes it stronger and less breakable.. They don't stock one like mine, but the type 1 shown here would work fine I would think.. https://www.canvape.com/product-p/shortytc.htm

For something more like pcrdude's setup in the pic with the altoids tin you would want this..

This is the closest battery to his that I see there.. https://www.canvape.com/product-p/miniego.htm

With this evod atomiser... https://www.canvape.com/product-p/evod.htm

No need for anything else with his setup but a charger.. https://www.canvape.com/product-p/joye510charger.htm this will work for both, yo need a USB port to plug it into, a pc, laptop, another charger head, or this charger base... https://www.canvape.com/product-p/usbps.htm

Does that help?

My personal recommendation for a small form factor, everyday carry device would be a mini bottom feeder like a vmod 2.0 or reo mini. My 2.0 goes everywhere with me. 800 mah, 4 ml of juice and an atomizer that will last over a month (with proper care). Its is tough as nails, and because it is mechanical, is extremely reliable. Here it is next to my Honda key.

VMODs are not mechanical...

Reos are, most of the times, way beyond the budget that someone new to vaping is willing to commit. Vmods are also pretty expensive, and a pain to use without blind squonk modding.

Squanking is a term used to describe the means by which juice enters an atomizer/cartomiser on a bottom feeding system. Blind squanking simply means that the device can remain upright while injecting the eliquid. A stock vmod system requires you to tilt the mod to fill. Modifying the vmod to accept this vertical filling is by no means necessary, and i personally find tilting it no more cumbersome than having to tilt my vivi heads to keep them wicking properly.

I'd recommend an eGo C Twist. It's got a slim profile and variable (3.2V-4.8V) voltage.

Yes, the eGo c-twist is what I use when roaming around. And I love the BOGE 2.0 ohm LR cartomizers on them. They produce a nice warm vape on standard 3.7V batteries AND even when set to 3.2V on a variable voltage battery. A 650mAh battery with those carts used on them will last me all day. The only drawback to the c-twist is that it uses one of those twist-on chargers. I would prefer to have a USB plug on them so they could be used while charging. You can't vape from a c-twist while it's charging. I keep a second battery though always with me when away from home, a standard 3.7v battery with USB plug on it. It can charge even in my car while I'm still using it if necessary.

Expensive is completely subjective. It is very common to find the entire system on sale for less than $100, including batteries and charger. Out of curiosity, have you owned either of the above mentioned mods?

I have owned a Vmod 2.0, the a la carte package from vapage at $85. Also modded for blind squonking. Let it go after a week since it costs more than my entire Sigelei mech- AGA setup (yes, including batteries and even charger) vape quality is on par at best, and atties are way more expensive to replace than rebuilding my genesis coil.

$100 is already way too expensive for a system. Certainly subjective, as everything else is, but it is reasonable to assume that someone new would be hesistant to commit right away to a Reo, and like i said it is also more expensive relatively to an equally good vape from a mech-genny setup, both in the short and long run. Especially in the long run - mechs rarely if ever break, so do gennies, and $10 worth of mesh and kanthal can last you a year or two. Rebuilding takes under 3 minutes - i timed myself.

Vmods are not mech, remember. They are metal shells outside of plastic guts, and have electrical circuits that can go wrong.

All that said, a Reo mounted with a rebuildable dripper certainly is a good option, although not for most newbies.

Kanj i read you vap a V Nova on your 510 batt is it the nano ? Always interested in knowing anything that will work with a 510 220 batt. Happy gaping

Yes Starlight it is the Nano. It works very well - im very impressed with the little guy. It costs a little more than a carto but lasts longer and easier to clean. Very newbie friendly - you should try it especially if you already have 510 batts.

I think i will use new one suggests here at home and my 510 V-Nano when out. Any thing eles i can put on a 510 batt220 ?

I have used a bunch of stuff on my auto 510, even now when i own all sorts of "advanced" mods. The mini Nova also works, although 510 batts are slightly under powered for a Nova. Plus the Nano just looks so much cleaner than a Nova on a cigalike battery :D

Cartos also work, certainly. I prefer Nano for many reasons including ease of use and reuse, but many would swear by cartos.

I'm apparently another person who can't read your specific requirements that you want to keep it small. 1300mah Vision Spinner ($25) with Ce4 clearomizer ($5). Will last for hours and hours on one charge, and has variable voltage, very useful for altering the heat of the vape. Ce5 clearomizers are just a scootch longer, same price, and have heads that can be replaced (wick plus coil, takes 30 seconds) for around $1.50 each.VisionSpinner_Ce4_clearo.jpg
