Thank you so much. I've been just fooling around with some Ideas. Got some new tools and decided to get creative. That is one of my very first attempts at a tip. I don't think I will be selling any in wood until they have been thoroughly tested. Even though there is a stainless steel tube inside the tip and the wood has been stabilized, Wood is designed to absorb moisture.
I've got some trustone to play with and if all goes well here you should start to see new exotic wood box mods and drip tips showing up real soon. Tommy

I have been working hard on a solution for that and I have a few wood tips that are being tested with no swelling. I have also placed a few in water for 24 hrs with no ill effects. I might be on to something. BTW all of the box mods from now on will be treated with the same process. Look for us to come out with some cool new products soon. Tommy

I might NEED one of those "Malachite" tips! (Have I mentioned that I have a degree in Geology...stone (or even fake stone that looks real) definitely has my name all over it...)
Hmmm I might need your help with those big words. For now I will be using the names that my supplier gives them. It's good to have peeoples.
Green banded Malachite. You are awesome I bought it and I still had to go look it up. those are cool because as I was turning them I realized at the most rounded parts they looked like they have eyes on both sides.
(The camera distorted the top of the ones on the right and left didn't see that until I posted the picture.OOPS)

Okay - This is usually how I hear about things that happened in "My" Family and thought I would share . . . It has to do with "My" Eldest Nephew who I just learned has moved down to northern Florida . . .
Wow What a way to find out Your relatives have moved closer. I'm glad he is ok. Can't say as much for the aircraft though. I happen to partake in defeating the gravity gods as often as I can. With the cost of fuel these days I've been on the ground looking up more than up there looking down. My dad has owned an aircraft for a long time and I have been around aviation in one way or another all my life.
