Hi guys and gals, I just got mine in and have been vaping on it for about an hour. I just thought I'd pen a few initial things I noticed.

They did a great job recessing the fire button, virtually no chance of an accidental fire here. Nice clicky feedback on it too.

The On/Off button on the bottom is now flush with the bottom, it easily stands upright.

The beauty ring does not have the bottom lip any longer that hangs over the side.

Maybe it's my imagination, but the entire unit does look and feel slightly smaller in every dimension. I will have to wait to get home to confirm.

The top and bottom are no longer chromed, they are brushed.

Finally the "Carbon" color which I thought was some sort of carbon fiber appearance is just a matte black. Does not show fingerprints!

I almost feel bad about gifting my MVP to my neighbor when my MVP2 shows up... almost. ;-)
I had won my MVP in a free promotional raffle at the local B&M's grand opening. I ended up gifting mine to my ex wife, who had been "stealing" my daughter's AltSmoke BB when she ran out of smokes at home. I offered the MVP to her to try to quit smoking. If she actually uses it and quits, its hers to keep. If she doesn't use it, it comes back to me.

It seems innokin is one of those companies that actually listens to customer feedback and makes improvements in their original product based on that feedback. Good to know. I actually really liked the origninal MVP and sort of miss having it. The issues I had with mine the short time it was with me, were the power button being flush and sometimes hard to find; I was inadvertantly turning the unit off while vaping. The wonky looking beauty ring. And the way the bottom push button bulged out. Sounds like those were taken care of in MVP 2.

When I got started vaping, I was actually looking at, and almost bought a couple of eGo VVs, but I'm a real OC research freak... at least that's the excuse I give the wife for being on the interweb 20 hours a day.

Anyway, I kept reading and "researching"... and the very first battery I bought was a iTaste 3.0, and before I even had received and tried the 3.0, I'd bought a MVP and an SVD. I was an instant iTaste junkie before I'd ever laid hands on an actual Innokin product!

I do the same as you Bad... I buy stuff, try it, give it to a friend, relative (ex-wife is in Vegas and I haven't spoken to her in 22 years ;-) ) with the stipulation that it comes back if it doesn't work for them. So far, nothing has come back... and that includes 2 SVDs and 3.0s. :p

Now that I'm getting more into mechs and stuff, I keep a few VWs around "just in case"... but I still have a fondness for iTaste mods. It certainly sounds like the MVP 2.0 is "flawless"... it will be at least a few more weeks before mine shows, but I'm really looking forward to it.

I'll say the same thing that I said in another thread...my SVD is a champ. Very impressed with what the SVD provides me given my investment--outstanding value! So yeah, I'm an innokin fan.

I've always wanted an MVP and MVP 2 looks even better. I'm probably going to recommend the MVP 2 for my friend who wants a mod.

I am a little disappointed in my SVD's fire button. It has gotten mushy, not clicky anymore and will shut off on occasion. I have been careful with it, it normally never leaves my computer desk at home. I have seen the posts about firing buttons going bad, and this worries me.
I have also seen posts where MVP buttons come out. I am on the fence about purchasing any more Innokin products because of this.

Other than that, I have really enjoyed the SVD, it does wonderful things :)

I am going to let you guys be the pioneers on this one.

On the Innokin Facebook page they had the 1.0 and the 2.0 side-by-side with the question, "Can you tell the difference?"

I think they are the exact same size.

Some people are careless with their equipment. I watched a Youtube video whereas one reviewer stated he broke his MVP 510 connection... ??? I've had mine for 4 months, no issues. I've knocked it over, dropped it, knocked it off the desk with delivery device attached. NO ISSUES.

The MVP is solid and durable.

My v1 has a broken connection too. It was about 2 weeks old.

You're right. After I got home and compared they are the same size exactly. I guess that old attage is true, black is slimming, lol

I received mine today from a local B&M.

My real Kanger EVOD does not make contact. I am using an adapter. Other than that, this mod is everything I was hoping it would be. Accurate OHM meter, confirmed by Provari. VW is nice but honestly I'm so used to adjusting the voltage. Love the blue vivid screen and battery display as well. Amazing mod, no doubt. This thing is going to be one of the most popular mods out there.

Love the finish on mine as well, its like a black wood grain. Oh and the button is VERY firm. Almost too firm, very clicky, no misfiring this thing.
