i tried charging it like 3 times, and yes i'm using AC charger but still no luck. The batt LED is like dead. Guess i'll ship this one back and ask for an exchange.

X3X, I doubt there is a need to ship it back. You can either Email Mark or Steve directly at V4L about the issue or simply let them now in the comments section on your next order and they will send you a new one. I had a bad battery and I asked about shipping it back and they said just throw it away and a new one would be sent. These guys aren't like other suppliers. Sending it back would just cause you delay in getting what you paid for and additional cost. Steve wants you smilin!
Steve or Mark feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

does the LED on the charger light up when you screw in the battery? if so, what color? manual or auto battery?

the led on the batt didnt light up or flash like it used to be, and led on the charger is green which is on when the batt is full .

its auto , i blow the air out the led light up and take a drag it works then the light go off....its not normal lol, how u fix this.

It sounds like you got some juice down in the battery and that is making the switch stick on. Blowing forces it off and lets you take a drag, but it stays on until it hits the cutoff.

I haven't had a sticky auto battery myself, so hopefully someone will chime in to help.

They're pretty much pooched at that point. I've had limited short-term success with taking the carto off (don't blow in the carto, you're just forcing more juice down into the battery! Blow into the battery with the carto OFF) and hitting it with a compressor (don't try cramming 90psi into there or something!) or can of air from a few inches away.

Lynn, I'm going to ask you this because you've dissected at least one auto battery.

Would it hurt anything to put a drop of alcohol in there & then shake it out. You would probably have to do it 3 or 4 times, but what are the chances of the alcohol getting inside the battery and causing a short?

Of course, since it's pretty much toast anyway, what can it hurt?

The ISO alcohols are all pretty conductive. They could short the switch and thereby short the battery - possibly killing the MCU.

With a risk of thermal runaway, I wouldn't recommend it. Ethyl Alcohol isn't terribly conductive, but I don't know how it's going to treat the plastic of the switch.

No - if you wanna do it the "right way", go with this: Amazon.com: Max Professional Blow-Off Contact Cleaner Non-conductive Cleaner: Musical Instruments

Actually, I've got a stuck one, I'll give the BlowOff contact cleaner a try and see if it will dissolve the juice ball or not. It should, it knocks out oil compounds like there's no tomorrow. I use it for degreasing tuners and sliders and cleaning capstans.
