I've been trying out buffaloguy's mix, it's really good. Really very good. It needs to rest a bit longer before I can make any decisions whether or not it replaces BB for me, but it's very promising so far!

So much so that I mixed up some more batches today and I did the 4-hour slow cooker part as well, which worked out well. This has been interesting, as it's the first time I've used a crockpot to accelerate steeping.

I had bought some of the DIYFS Black Jack Plus as e-liquid (not concentrate) and I chose the 0mg with the intention of using it as flavouring rather than as a juice to vape on its own. I added 5% of it to one of my buffaloguy recipe bottles and the result is very interesting. Even with such a small amount, the whole house smells like I've been making mulled wine!

edit - sampled the Black Jack Plus mix next day and even at 5% it overwhelms the other flavours too much, it's an incredibly strong eliquid....

I have the TA in pure form

Blended 2 drops with 10ml of PG

Looks very weak at the moment ..... almost like a light urine colour.......Is this right or should it be darker ?

Just wondering if my drops were not enough

Thats correct. Actual TPA TA blend is 1 drop TA pure, 10ml PG or ALC, and 1/4 tsp EM. My suggestion is to start with one drop. After reviewing my recipe against bobas directly. In your case you can simply add 10 more mls of PG to dilute the two drops into one, if you choose to do so.

TA pure is very concentrated.

I have not included EM in my mix of the TA blend........Did you ? Or does your recipe not call for EM (I'm not very keen on EM too sweet for my liking)

Regarding the Buffalo Boba clone......I have used TPA black mild and Cappella Cinnamon danish.....(Coz thats what I had to hand)

Will post my thoughts once its steeped for a while

Yes there is EM in TPA Tobacco Absolute blend, so what I made has it. I dont add any additional beyond that.

I made buffaloguys recipe. I tried to make it the way he said to make it. One variable is Dan's TA mix. The TA ratio may be different than the way someone else makes it. The way I made the TA/EM mix was one 1/32 teaspoon ot TA to 50 mls of PG, and also three scoops of 1/32 teaspoons of EM crystals to the same mix of 50 mls PG.

I tried the TA mix on it's own and it's got that nice cig aroma taste. It's not as sweet, but I could always add more EM. The vendor (where I got the TA and EM) recommends one 1/32 of TA to 15 mls, and one 1/32 of EM crystals to 10 mls. I tried their EM recipe recommendation once, and boy was that really sweet tasting. I don't know how it would turn out with their TA recipe. I think it would be too strong.

I haven't tasted buffalo's recipe yet. It is steeping, and it seems like the smell is changing, just over a couple days of steeping. My mix ended up a little thinner than I would like. Since I like to use more PG than VG (that's just me), I forgot to take the distilled water into account. But I think it's still vapeable.

The distilled water is mainly for the VG, and viscosity. The TA Blend you made should suffice. I think its likely weaker than the recipe I had posted. Too much EM would make it too sweet and likely mute flavors alot. Too much TA will bring out that floral note in the TA. One of the things Im working on here at home is taming that more. Time usually takes care of it.

Got my mega BB bottle a week ago from AVE. Also grabbed blueberry cheescake, gorilla and bees knees. Love that bees knees...

I hit the virginal BB bottle the second i pulled it from vape mail and it was rough...had a metallic taste to it.

I shook it and stored it warm and very dark.

I pulled it out last night, one week later and SHAZZAM Daddy liiike. The stuff is so smooth now. Mettalic taste gone. I don't get raisan so much as I get PRUUUUUUUNE....with a hint of chocolate....and other complexities.

I slammed 4 full Magma atty loads before I gently tucked it back into its home.

I cannot wait for the next 7 days to go by.

I have all the clone flavors minus the tobaccos so I will order them shortly. I just wanted to see if I liked it and what it tasted like. It does taste very complex and I cannot wait for "the changes" as time goes by.

I did order gorilla juice. I found it to be uninspiring myself. Its not bad, just kinda lifeless to me. Could clone it with TA and very light touch of tpa ripe bananna pretty much.

Still waiting to see what some others who made it think of the recipe I posted.

Well I'm on my 2nd 30 ml bottle of "Buffalo's Bounty" or whatever you want to call it. I made it exactly the way you posted it (I have all the flavors on hand). Vaped up the first 30 mls in about 2 days (after ~4hr quick steep in the crock pot). Made up the 2nd 30 ml bottle last night and did another 4hr crock pot steep. Been vaping on it some today...I really need to put it away and come back to it in a week to see how it matures. This is some good stuff man! Closest by far than any of the other clones. Great work! I would like to try a version with DIYFS flavors but that will have to wait until next week when I can order some flavors.

Well I guess you named guys named it then! Glad you are enjoying it. Lets not forget to give credit tho to all the others that have contributed the thread tho cause without their input and tests I may not have come up with it. Credit where credit is due. There was alot of work put into this recipe before I even started.

If you have any thoughts on tweaks or anything please say so. Im trying a few things on my end.

I may try it this weekend. I mixed 120 mls of Buffalo Bounty. I will give input later, and add my own tweaks if I feel it's necessary on future mixes. I need to rebuild my coils soon, and it's only fair to try this mix on a fresh wick.

Even though I haven't gotten around to try it yet. I made enough to try and still have some left over to keep steeping. One thing I will play around with is the TA/EM mix.
