This may have been posted before...... but I actually mix it at a 50/50 blend. At 100% VG I would back off the sweetener a bit. kayfun flavors are fantastic and very close. Good Luck on the quest here.

(36mg) Nicotine e-liquid 4 ml 80 drops 33.333 %
PG 3.6 ml 72 drops 30 %
VG 2 ml 40 drops 16.667 %

Black mile + 0.36 ml 3 %
tobacco Blend TFA 0.36 ml 3 %
Cinnamon Danish TFA 0.36 ml 3 %
cotton candy TFA 0.36 ml 3 %
Cherry natural (LOR) 0.24 ml 2 %
Almond Natural (LOR) 0.24 ml 2 %
Graham Cracker clear TFA 0.48 ml 4 %

I personally have never used a TFA version of it, so I cannot say if its similar. if you have it on hand feel free to try with the recipe with it. Just realize it might be stronger or weaker in concentration, and even different in flavor profile. So your results may vary from what I made.

I have the VZ Black Cigar and 555. Just made a batch per your recipe and will now wait for 3 weeks to see how it develops. Just gave this batch and Boba's the smell test and I smell raisen in Boba but....... Like I said, we'll see how it ages :)

Steep it in a crock pot or an heated UC at 150F for 4-6 hours and you can vape it in no time flat.

This is correct. Four hours in the hot water bath via crockpot is plenty. Over the following 3-5 days it will change a little bit more and then settle in.

I have tasted this knockoff. I think your cat would leave it outside.

I'm more concerned about my cat's output than its input. BTY, I got sucked into a fake BB a long time ago - Catskill Mountains or something similar. Believe the culprit was kicked off this forum - sure hope so, anyway!

I ordered some of that Boba's Clone from Katskill about 6 months ago out of curiosity. It's in no way..NO WAY even remotely close to the original. He's Just using it's success for his own ends. It wasn't horrible juice, just a super strong banana nut bread is what I got.

Here is another find about using 5 Vegas cigar in their clone experiments.

This isn't an exact recipe for this is more of my findings when I used 5 Vegas Classic Cigar (5VCC) extraction flavoring from My Vape Juice. The very first time after mixing 5VCC it tasted similar to me like BoBa's. I am not a big BoBa's fanboy, so I posted my thoughts haven't pursued trying to make BoBa's clone much. I have dabbled. Since there have been lots of questions about using 5VCC, how much, etc. I decided to post this.

Brief history from everything I read on BoBa's AVE uses 40% VG flavoring and the rest is 60% nicotine base in 100% VG base. My thoughts are Ave has to be using a cold tobacco extraction to use 40% flavoring. 5VCC is a cold tobacco extraction. And Ave has said BoBa's only contains 3 ingredients. MVJ sells 5VCC in either a PG extraction and a VG extraction. I also think its dependent upon the nicotine source too. I had used a different sourced nicotine the next time I mixed 5VCC and it was a little different.

Mixing ratio of 5 VCC....I have mixed it at 15, 20, 25, 30 and 40%. Each time I mixed the BoBa's taste was there but at 40% flavoring I didn't need to let it steep as long. And at 40%, I added a drop of cream.

My Conclusion is mix 5 VCC at 30-40% taste dependent and add a little cream if you want. I thought the cream made it taste better. Steeping is key....It tasted more like BoBa's when I allowed to sit for 2 -3 weeks, it turned a dark honey straw color. I only vape this every couple days for about 30 min in a dripper. As I said I am not a fan of BoBa's.

Nicotine source is also key to a 100% VG BoBa's clone....when I used Heartland Vapes nicotine my 40% BoBa's Classic turned darker after two weeks of steeping and tasted more than ever like BoBa's to me

Nicotine comes in two forms...synthetic and made from tobacco. I believe the nicotine heartland isn't synthetic because it has a light straw color to it.

None of this is scientific, nor has it been test marketed. It's all based on my taster and thoughts of how can one use 40% flavoring...my thoughts its got to be a cold tobacco VG extraction. And Diane at MVJ only has a few 100% VG tobacco extractions. And Diane sent me a sample of 5VCC this is how I stumbled upon 5VCC tasting like BoBa's. I did order more. End of story.

For you BoBa's fanboys...give the 5 VCC a try you may think the same or say she has a weird taster.

If BB is 5 ingredients, would it be something if it was as simple as:

1. Nic
2. VG
3. Cigar Extract Blend (Maybe 2 extracts and TA)
4. Distilled Water
5. Some kind of maple/brown sugar flavor

LOL regarding Catskill Mountain Vape Shop. I just did some research on Richard Goddeau. This guy is a Whack Job! 8-o8-o8-o -Check out his shenanigans on ripoffreport.com

Yeah, that's the, er, dishonest person. First he didn't send anything, then after some chasing up he did send something. It had to go out with the contents of my cat's well used litter tray. Couldn't even palm it off on one of those pesky chimps!

Oh yeah, I now remember that he claimed to be blind and published a video on youtube supposedly revealing two empty eye sockets. A real charmer!

This is exactly what I mixed the other night with the math all worked out properly. I did it in VG nic base with IN A 6ML tester size.

VG Nic of choice / Plain VG (I made it at 10mg)
Seedmans Commercial Concentrate @4% (Wizardlabs)
TPA Dk/555 Tobacco @ 2% (Wizardlabs)
Black & Mild @ 2% (Vapingzone)
TPA Cinnamon Danish @ 1% (Wizardlabs)
Distilled Water @ 12.5% (Local Supermarket)
Dan's Mix @ 1.5% (premix tobacco base)

How to make what I call Dan's Mix. Its one part TPA Tobacco Absolute Blend in either PG or ALC, and 2 parts Seedman's Commercial mixed together then used at 1.5% as in the above recipe.

As TPA tobacco ansolute blend is also hard to come by you can make that on your ownas well via the post above.

Thank You for the recipe buffaloguy. It sounds like you're using you're using tobacco absolute blend in your recipe. I want to try the recipe but I need to get a few of the flavors first...TA being one of them.

I was wondering if you could elaborate more on the TA mix, which seems to be the hardest part of the recipe. You are right when you say that TA blend is hard to come by. I was thinking of getting TA pure and mixing it.

The recipe for TA pure mentioned at onestopdiy is:
1/32 tsp Tobacco Absolute

15ml PG

1ml Ethyl Maltol Crystals

This would be for 15ml instead of a 10ml base.

Or I could do what buffaloguy suggested,...10ml of pg or alc as a base, 1/4 teaspooon of EM crystals, and two drops TA pure.

I don't really like drops though since drops can be different sizes, and unreliable. But at the same time, we are talking about such a small amount of TA that is going into the overall recipe, but too much TA can mess up the flavor.

Would you suggest not using the EM at all in this recipe? Buffaloguy probably has EM in the recipe if he is using the TA blend.

Thanks.

Never mind I found it. :)

Take a look at this mix, This could be why you get cotton candy.
Ive been using this for best part of a year now and can vouch for the change in flavour.

This was copied from an old thread by Dan Scubabatda

I have posted this I do not know how many times, but this is the same recipe I have been using since 2010:

TA (Tobacco Absolute), and EM (Ethyl Maltol) is a great base. It allows to to add pretty much any other flavor to it. This is my tobbaco base concoction. Unfortunatly the seedmans darkens it up alittle, but it is fairly clear at 10%.

You will need the following:

Perfumers Apprentice - Cotton Candy 2 x 1oz

TOB506 Commercial Cigarette Concentrate 4 x 1/2oz

Perfumers Apprentice - Tobacco Absolute (1. Pure) 1 x 2.5ml

Now, the cotton candy from perfumer apprentice is ethyl maltol suspended in PG @ 10%, warm the cotton candy and the 2.5ml of TA (tobacco absolute) in a sink of HOT water.

Get a 4oz bottle to add everything into, uncap the cotton candy and pour it all into the 4oz bottle, then uncap the TA, it will not be thick now as the hot bath has made it thinner. Use a pipette (note the TA will stain the pipette so use this pipette only for TA) and put .3ml of TA into the cotton candy (About 6 drops). Now cap the cotton candy and shake until it is mixed. Now add the seedmans concentrate to the cotton candy and shake until mixed.

The result is a approx 120ml of tobacco base that is very satisfying IMO @ 10%, and you can add hazelnut or peanut flavor to your mix to give it a nutty flavor. Add vanilla, black cherry, or caramel to give it those notes.
When adding menthol us it at 3% to the 7% tobacco base.
Well hope this helps.

Good question. No response yet from the vendor. The site doesn't have much info about the company. It's sort of organized like DIYFS with lots going on.

If I recall I remember folks talking about them in the diy section last year and then they became a verified supplier. I could be wrong but I think they have only been in business a couple years which would mean that extraction being similar somehow is likely just a fluke.

Never mind I found it. :)

yep, thats it. i just dont make it in those quantities. You can certainly leave the EM out but then its not TA blend. When I make this from scratch in PG I do use EM. As Ive said tho it could well be Ben just uses TA pure in VG. Using two drops of TA pure in 10ml might be too much for some folks. Some people recommend one drop. I personally use two.
