I think the TA from onestopdiyshop is different than other TA that is sold elsewhere. The reason I say this is because of what others have recommended on this thread.

The TA recipe that onestop recommends using their TA is to add 1/32 tsp to 15 ml of PG or alcohol...I use PG and no alcohol in my mix.

Others in this thread said to use one or two drops of TA in 10 mls of the premix before adding to the final mix. I tried this and could not taste the TA at all in the final recipe.

Using this particular TA in the premix I ended up adding 3% of this flavor to the final mix using the TA premix recipe from onestop.

This is only speculation however since I have yet to try TA from another vendor.

I would like to hear your thoughts about this TA when you get it JohnnyDill.

:) -I have used Azure vaping's TA that came diluted 50% with PGA in a 1.5ml vial. I mixed this solution in 15ml PG and added 1% EM. After steeping for over a month, this mix tasted great to me and I would buy it again, but I needed some Seedman's so I decided to order onestop's TA while I was at it. I have yet to deal with pure TA so this is gonna be interesting. I swear by TA for adding its distinctive note to my tobacco mixes as well as these Boba's concoctions. :2c:

Did you make this recipe and agree it is a good clone?

Buffaloguy had a recipe and I modified it to suit my taste. I am still making it the same way, 120ml later. LOVE this recipe. I never said my version of this was a clone of Boba's as I have never tried the real thing and probably never will. I refuse to pay that much for juice. DIY only for me.

{For tobacco absolute mix here, I took 1.5 ml Azure TA and diluted to 15ml with PG and 1%EM. This mix has been steeping for months}

10% tobacco absolute mix
2% TFA Mild Black
5% TFA Cinnamon Danish
5% TFA Graham Cracker Clear
2% TFA Double Chocolate Dark
1% FA Coconut
1% EM
FA Cinnamon- one drop per 3 ml of finished juice {example: for 15 ml of juice, add 5 drops}

I use a base with 15mg nic, 45PG/45VG/10DW but you could use any percentages here. :) :vapor: :p

Thanks for the recipe. I don't have the exact ingredients but will give it a try with what I do have. (Black Mile or Black N Milk and MFS TA) If it tastes promising then I might pop for the Azure TA and Mild Black since I need to order some stuff anyway. Thanks again.

I'll throw my two cents in here... I think Boba's has Hangsen Tobacco(s), Seedmans Top Notes,TA, ACV, & ________???? This is the part that I believe is the mystery! The slight cocoa and sweetness comes from the tobaccos, just want to say honey or maple...

Bobas is my ADV, absolutely love it! I made juice close using the above and come close. Still missing something

Which Hangsen tobacco/s have you used for your mixes? I used to be convinced that there were Hangsen tobaccos in BB, until I mixed some Buffaloguy Bounty (from his recipe a few pages back) - have you tried it? I love BB too, but now I have more of a preference for Buffaloguy's recipe which although it's different, in my opinion it's as close as anyone's going to get to a BB clone.

Yes, I used a Coke A Cola that was sweetend with sugar as opposed to HFCS.
Added it to some AVE C&D, and sweetend to taste. Color was on & gunked coils just like the real thing- which I attribute to the sugar.
Now I wish I knew what was in C&D!!
Give it a whirl and see what ya think.
The whole point of a clone is to make it yourself. If you bought AVE C&D and are adding flavor to it, then what is the point? I don't want to start an argument. But if I buy juice from AVE, it might as well be Boba's Bounty.

I do agree with about the whole clone from scratch thing. And I understand that is the point of the thread.
I have been a lurker here for quit a while- I've tried buffaloguys recipe and freaking LOVE it.
All I wanted to do is chime in with my little experiment and possibly start a conversation with some of you DIYers that are more experienced then me- which is probably everyone here. In fact this and similar threads are what inspired me to order concentrates. As far as ordering from AVE - totally agree. The last sale I bought 500 ml of bobas.

Tried buffaloguys recipe except reduced the Cinnamon Danish to 0.5% (cinnamon scares me), used Mild Black from WL (easier to order everything from one place), and used some homemade TA (low heat extraction on a Cohiba Cuban cigar). Everything else, to specification. The color is lighter than the Real Thing, but the smell and taste is very close for my palate and excellent.
