I don't know who thought of adding white vinegar, but I would like to say thank you. I'm not trying to make a clone, as I prefer at least 50% PG. but, the vinegar did wonders to my mix. It cut the sweetness beautifully, without taking it away completely. Great work, and thanks again.

vendors have been adding vinegar for years, but I'm not sure where it started. It's not just vinegar though, there's plenty o' juice tweaks...

Like popcorn soap? But like, not a small amount. Like your mouth was full of popcorn soap. I realized it almost immediately. After I finished coughing I just dunked the entire thing in vodka and closed up the bottle AP and haven't tried it in a mix since :p

That's why everyone says just a very small amount. :)

Vinegar is an acid, acetic acid, not a base. The nicotine is the alkaline ingredient. How much ACV by percentage are you using that you can actually taste it?
I'm leery of using ACV as it kind of defeats the purpose of the vinegar, which is to balance the pH of the nicotine (ACV is less acidic than distilled vinegar, a pH of around 4 vs. around 2.
I must be thinking of something else. I was thinking it was an extreme base but yeah you are right. Anyway, I used it at 6%. Not if the total in the e liquid, but in the total of the base flavoring. I mixed up all the flavors to 100% separately and then added it to my nic base at 15%. That might sound confusing but basically I made a premix flavoring with the ingredients and then added that to my nic base. Instead of adding the individual ingredients to my nic base.

You may be onto something with ap. I've never tried it but I know when I get a short or hotspot in my mesh/coil on a genny my Boba's gives off a really distinct soapy and very odd taste. With most other juices I will just get a burnt taste but with Boba's and gj they have a completely different taste when you have a malfunction in your genesis. Anyone else notice this? It's not a metallic taste; although I've got that too from a hotspot but there's a different kind of bad taste once in a while.

I have tried a variation of SloHand's #7 with a small amount AP (mixed 1 drop: 1 ml VG then added two drops of the dilution) and I can't tell the difference yet. Might be a little bit diluted. I still don't have CAP cinnamon Danish, so I'm rocking a variation with nature's flavors Danish. I don't think that AP is the magic ingredient. But I'm no expert.

I have been mixing #7 recipe with Good Life Vapor El kamino. It's pretty satisfying. That extra bit of chewiness I had been missing seems to be there when mixed. The El Kamino by itself has a decent taste, but imo nothing like Boba's. Except that is, for the tobacco flavor. It makes me curious if the 2 are the same.

When I vape the real stuff (only have about 6ml left) and the GLV mixed with #7, they taste pretty close. Just throwing that out there for anyone else that may want to try it.
