I remember reading someone describing "rum" and thought this picture of Boba Fett was interesting.

boba-fett-rum.jpg

Btw, I had me another Lychee drink and it's the closes thing I can come up with when I taste a drop of BB. I did find a vendor called NaturesFlavors and they have organic flavors in VG including Lychee.

Btw, I'm sensing danger this thread might get closed....I've seen this pattern of replies on other threads and it's not good especially how popular it is.

I think it's time for bed....I got a go-cart race tomorrow.

I am still trying to decide, but right now I would probably regret more sharing it and not trying to start myself down the path of doing what i love for work, asking "what if?"... You know? And i would regret less if i used it to help me start my own business.

I don't think you've compromised future wealth by finally dropping your coca bombshell.

Ben is using a coca extract, it must be a very refined one and thus wouldn't have the whole "dont drive if you ingest this stuff" label on it. I googled the legality issue of coca and it doesn't seem to be any more legal in Korea (where he opened up shop and still lives) than it is here in the states, so thats irrelevant.

Who lives in Korea? Are you talking about Ben? He lives in Lancaster CA.

I just got all the ingredients to the #7 clone. Even if it's not spot on, I'm sure it will taste good and will be worth the DIY.

Thanks for the info. I'm thinking to try some hot cinnamon flavor to add in at some point, because that's what I taste in El Kamino...a BB clone from Good Life Vapor.

This entire coca & cola discussion does harken back to the first review I've ever read about BB. I tried BB in the early days, when according to Ben, he still didn't switch to all USA ingredients.

Didn't care for it...my taste buds in circa '09 still had Dekang, so I wasn't evolved.

Then I read this review, and immediately decided to give BB another try, and I was sold.

I wont beat up on Rikiel. I issued him a challenge to put up or shut up, provided him new perspective to do so, and he realized he made a poor choice and came back.

Now, I will say you cant shift a burden to be disproven based on theory alone. That might work in physics where they chase rainbows and unicorns all day but in the real world we are more practical than that. You gotta show me a recipe before I can say the burden of proof is on anyone to disprove you rikiel. Not saying you might not have a valid idea, but you need to show some proof of concept here.

I have made a couple of mixes with TPA cola at varying percentages in attempting a boba clone. I just dont see it. Frankly, they are downright... rank at best. Even 1% ruins any attempt at a reasonable clone.

I still believe the base tobaccos are Tob Absolute with a marlboro, 555/dk or maybe ry4 type blend. As far as the other ingredients I atill say its something with cinnamon in it. I need to order some cinn red hots and some other cinnamon based flavs from other places. Cinn danish is close but its off even in a small percentage. So maybe there is a VG version some other vendor offers.

I thought for sure that I had posted this finding of mine regarding #7 but alas I had only sent it in an email response to another member here.

Those of you trying #7 might want to try a batch with the Cinnamon Danish Swirl and Graham Cracker amounts reversed.

Boba's Clone #7
Black and Mile Plus 40.0%
Graham Cracker 20.0%
Almond oil 20.0%
Coconut 7.1%
Cinnamon Danish Swirl 7.1%
Vinegar 5.8%

I'm on my 9th sample using TPA cola and/or cola syrup, same thoughts. The citric acid and cinnamon in both are overpowering, but I haven't gone as low as 1% yet.

You mentioned switching them in the thread somewhere, I just don't think you reposted the recipe.

It's page 11 for me, you guys really should change your profile setting for posts per page :)

Thanks. I'm going to try this this weekend. Btw, I got BM, what could I add to make it "Plus"?

Believe that was me several weeks ago. I immediately went to work, and should be good for a vape now.

I am ignorant at DIY, a total newbie. But I have watched this thread with interest. Someone (don't know who to give credit to) way back in the pages suggested Amaretto flavor. I am thinking more and more it "might" be. Many of the recipes shown have almond oil or cherry flavor added, and to me, although Amaretto liquour is technically an almond flavored liquor, it still has a slight cherry taste to me. Drinking it in coke tastes like a cherry vanilla coke. Could this be possible?

I knew it. BB has crack! :)

I know taste is subjective and tastebuds start to change but cola really. So what does coca taste like?

Cherries and almonds have the same esters, the LA Natural Cherry and Almond flavors I have smell exactly the same. An Amaretto flavor would be very similar if you used the right one, but several of them have a medicinal artificial taste...
