Still have hope here. Cats are pretty independant! I gave a kitten away years ago..she still comes to visit and have a snack. I am sure her family thinks she is gone,. They came here to get her..so I don't know where they live. She is fat as can be so she must have a route of places she goes for a snack! I did send a note on her collar once..no reply.

No good news. I visited all the shelters today and no Diablo. I have checked every wooded area and there is no fur around so I don't think a coyote got him....I feel really sure he was stolen. There was a huge garden party right next door they day he went missing. I think someone just took him.

That is really rotten. I feel for you.. Hope he is ok..

I have 10 cats and 2 dogs and have lost a lot over the last few years.. it hurts..

Take care. Hope you get him back!

Dear Glow....I truly feel for you! My little Lulu went missing last month...I searched everywhere for her. I never stopped looking and screaming her name throughout the neighborhood! They really thought that I was some kind of crazy woman running around. I found her 8 hours later...with a boy on the corner! He had her hidden in his jacket!!!

My deepest prayers go out to you for a swift and safe return!

I know it is hard. It is a situation where you need to prepare for the worst, yet can't stop looking every time you leave the house! We had an indoor cat who got out and was gone for 17 days (in February, in Minnesota!) Went through the shelter visits, let all the neighbors know, etc.

Then, one day, our next door neighbor called, and said she had our cat! He had been hanging around the empty house across the street. He was very thin, but he was OK, and obviously had been finding things to eat. Turns out he was a mouser, and we didn't even know it! Came in handy when we had mice move in the next winter! ;)

I guess, I just wanted you to know I have been thinking about you guys, and hoping you will see him again. It is hard to be constantly searching, though, and at some point, you need to let it go. Cats are amazing survivors...you may be surprised yet.

Best wishes to you and your family!

Lou
