My Daughter's Birthday and Funny Situation!

My youngest daughter's 7th birthday was yesterday! We took her to a Pizza place she wanted to have her party at! After dinner we did presents and then we brought in the cake and setup the candles! Ummm We all quit smoking and had no lighter LOL Had to go through the dining room asking hey buddy you got a lighter I can use LOL
Just struck me as funny!

Thats wicked funny,I used to have 5 in my bag at all times,now I cant find one to light the grill.

Yep same here. They used to be all over the house. Now we have to search for one.

Sounds silly but I still miss carrying my zippo but don't do it as it's a symbol of a very unpleasent past!

I had to use the grill lighter to light candles for Christmas dinner! I still have one lighter in my car. Not sure it works, but I noticed it the other day.

When I decided to get rid of my last unopened pack, I also tossed the lighters.. totally wasn't thinking. I'm a candle nut. Luckily I went to light some candles later that night before I took out the trash.

That IS funny! I'm just the opposite now, when I smoked I had 10 lighters wandering around the house and car but I always seem to be searching for one. Now, after I quit, as I found them around the house and car I put them all in one spot and they're all still sitting exactly where I put them, so now I know exactly where all 10 of them are but never need them.

Hrtbrker: My dad had a zippo his father gave him...he carried it for years after he quit smoking.

I actually lit a toothpick on fire using my gas cookstove to light a candle. I gave all my lighters away except my grill lighter. Duh. It was out of lighter fluid.
