Sumi (my apologies if this is an unacceptable shortening of your name),

I've been mildly tuned in to your quest for the perfect device for about a week now. I think you're going to be hunting for quite some time, if this is the case. The only way to figure out if you like something, or if it's perfect for you, is to actually use it.

There isn't a single, hands-down, absolute best piece of equipment out there. You have such standards that it almost seems like you will need a custom mod made just for you, to your specifications. But, here's the catch: if you haven't used anything besides an ego and clearomizer, how will you know what you like or don't like?

So, seriously: just pick something and buy it. I don't know what your goal is, picking out these high-powered devices, but just pick something and start using it.

Even if you do find the perfect device, there's going to be a learning curve to getting it to work as well as you're hoping. Your first coil will, in all likelihood, pale in comparison to the 5th coil, which will be improved upon by your 20th coil, and so on.

If I were you, I'd get something high-powered and regulated for myself as soon as possible and get learning. Then, when the birthday rolls around, graciously accept a backup, and/or another RBA/RDA.

You will probably not be producing world-class vapor the second you get the IPwhatever, so just get something and get started.

But, that's just me.

Thanks alot ! People do call me Sumi on other forums aswell and I like it ! I decided that the best 50watt device I could go for is the T5 by Cloupor. I just love it. The shape, the color and i just love it.
Its like a mech mod and a box mod combined into one which was what i was trying to find all along. I hated back panels of box mods but loved the protection and screen on the box mods. The T5 comes with both. A easy switch out of batteries, and it has a screen. Just hoping that I am able to ship it out cause im having a hard time in Iran. In Iran the newest vape gear that has come out is the ego type ones. And their just the most revolutionary or should I say the newest unit out here. And e juice is just disgusting. I will be shipping it to the USA to a friend and that they will send it my way. I hope it goes well with a black plume veil from tobeco and no drip tip btw.

One question, will the efest 18650 (re-rapped LG HE2) work on the T5 ? Be cause im talking 10$ for a efest and 15 for vtc5's. What should I go for ?

The purple Efest 18650 2500mah "35" amp (really 20 amp) battery would be fine for any DNA-type regulated mod. Their only requirement is an IMR chemistry battery with at least 12 amps continuous. That specific battery would be appropriate.

i still dont know if i want a t5. Im still stuck on this situation. i might just go for a ipv2. i dont know. and as for rda i dont know if i want the plume veil. i want a cloud chaser rda which gives out loads of vapor. what do you suggest i get atm.

I recommend something simple and inexpensive as your first RDA. The IGO-W is a very nice and inexpensive first RDA. It has three posts, so you can learn to make a single coil, and then advance on to doing dual coils. Less than $20 US. It was my first RDA and I'm using it as I speak.

Have read a bunch of this guy's posts.
Anyone else getting the feeling that Sumi might not be an adult?

Ya I figured that right off, but at least he is TRYING to learn (and hasn't jumped in and bought a bunch stuff that he doesn't know how to use yet)

and he has an eGo to use while he learns

The reason i sold my ego t was the fact that is was horrendously disgusting device. When I used the e juice that came with it or even other ones which I bought from other shops and stores were just bad. It was smoking strait up VG without any flavorings. I got into vaping after trying my friends knock off cigarette. I currently still smoke hookah and have fun with it. And when people say that their opinions and ideas to help me "go to the next level" doesn't matter, is just sad. I do listen to your comments and actually think about them every second. In Iran it's different. I am a Canadian but my parents are straight up Persian. I just need the ideal choice because I wont have another chance. I actually don't know what I want and that's the ....... truth. I dont want to pay above 200 dollars for everything except the e juice Im getting. I would buy a DNA 30 by cloupor but the reverse battery protection that it doesn't have scares the living .... out of me.

Well just take your time and learn. Learn about the ohms law stuff, the thermodynamics of an atomizer, the different battery chemistries, safety issues. Learn about what's necessary to produce the vape you want, and whats just added bling. That way when you're ready, you can make informed decisions instead of just jumping in blindly.
