I'm not trying to bash anybody, just putting in my :2c: I'm sure if you didn't care about your dog he wouldn't be inside with you hanging out, he'd probably be tied up outside. Doing it one time probably won't kill him, I just wouldn't suggest doing it all the time. My dog is always next to me but when I vape I blow it away from him and the vapor dissapates much quicker than smoke.

Ranger(he) is a boxer and pit mix.

I wouldn't recommend blowing anything in your pet's face as their systems are more sensitive than ours and can have bad reactions with some things that do not bother humans. I'm not saying it's going to harm them but better safe than sorry. What we put in our bodies are our own decisions, let's not submit our best friends to the same thing.

Both of my dogs looove my Vanilla Mocha Frap-11. I don't know how they felt with my traditiona Basic cig.. never really got a reaction out of them when I smoked. Lily, the white american bulldog, likes the vape so much her mouth starts to water. I think she thinks it can be consumed as food or something.

I am sorry....very cute pup.....but it looks like he has been sniffing on something way more powerful than a vape cloud! I know it's just that he probably blinked when you took the shot, but at first I was thinking you were using this shot to illustrate a dogs "sensitivity" to everything they breathe in....LOL!

Cheers, and vape on....you not the Canine. : )

As soon as I read the heading I KNEW you were going to get some "scoldings". Well, you won't do that again! Or, at least not tell ECF if you do! LOL! : )

My doggy seems interested in what I'm doing when he sees me vape, as well.

It wasn't my intent to worry anyone. I did it once to see his reaction. It's not anytning I'll ever do intentionally again. I just thought it was interesting. If your pets are near you when you vape they're gonna inhale some anyway. Sorry if I offended anyone.

Our cats were funny, when I first started vaping they would squint their eyes and make that "disgusted" face when they saw the vapor cloud and were anticipating the smoke smell...and squint and squint and then ever so slowly and carefully open their eyes to see what was going on cuz there was a subtle aroma but no giant blast of stink! Then they'd sniff the air a bit...still no smoke, so they would just sit there and watch me, totally puzzled. My husband does still smoke and they know to stay away from him! The reason we both used to make sure we smoked our menthols in boxes was because we used to have this sweet, adorable but weird cat that loved anything menthol. We would go to take a cigarette out of our soft pack and WTF....a soggy filter would fall off in your hand. And another, and another...!!! He would lick and lick them until they were saturated! One time hubby hurt his shoulder so I rubbed ben gay on it and all night long the cat kept picking at the covers and his t-shirt trying to lick off the lotion! If you had a wintergreen lifesaver he would try to go into your mouth to lick it!!! He also liked to lick the rusty shovel, plastic bags and the soil from my house plants. The vet didn't seemed too concerned except about the ben-gay and cigarettes. If you are curious, despite his weird diet, he lived to a ripe old age of 22!
