Smokers reactions to vaping?

How do cigarette smokers react to your vaping?

Believe it or not I have been vaping for 3 months and have gotten better reactions from non-nicotine users than actual analog smokers. One example is at work... a lot of non-smokers are intrigued about the devices I'm using and think it's great that I have quit smoking but there is this one manager (he is a smoker) and he says things like "You shouldn't be smoking that in here" and "You don't know what's in that"

I don't know how to really explain his tone but it's like this weird vibe that he doesn't like that I'm enjoying a nice vape indoors while working and he has to outside to smoke lol. Other examples are people literally scoffing at my PV's when I vape them. Mind you, these are all smokers.

I've noticed when non-nicotine users see a mod or a PV that doesn't look like a cigarette they are more curious than judgmental. But when analog smokers see me vaping on a PV that doesn't look anything like an analog they thing it's "ridiculous" Almost like I'm off my rocker.

Is this just me?

P.S. I think this post is just about me coming to the realizations that I'm officially out of the smoking club lol.

I get mostly the exact opposite reaction from smokers. But then I work where there is a employee smoking room with tables chairs and a tv. I find that when I first started to vape I would get bombarded by question about e-cigs. Then the Provari arrived, and the ooo's and ahh's happened, couldn't get in a good vape break some times. lol. Thankfully I usually read my paperwhite and listen to my Zune during break so usually can ignore them.

Today I showed my big sister my gear while visiting her at her store. She was full of questions, and very excited with what I was doing, going to hook her son up with some of my old vape gear for X-mass. All in all I get positive reactions from everyone, with only an occasional uniformed opinion and snide comment.

So far my vapping has gatewayd three smokers now vapers at work. lol

I refuse to hang around with anyone who refuses to support my attempt to quit smoking analogs. That being said, my kids are wholly on board w/ the vaping (they sure do like that mom and dad don't smell like ashtrays), my friends are happy that I've quit smoking, and my Mom is excited, too.

My brother has been vaping for a couple of years, and is DIY. So, Mom was on board with the vaping thing. My SIL is a pharmacist, and is happy that we have quit smoking.

TL,DR: Don't let the ....*****s get you down.
