Being new to vaping and new to ECF, I kept reading about this wonderful juice called Bobas Bounty from Alien Visions. Knowing my husband and I can only vape 100% VG due to the chest heaviness PG causes, I was excited to find that's exactly what Bobas Bounty was ... 100% VG. The unfortunate part, I seemed to catch things right as AVE was in the moving process and was closed. BUMMER! And then tried to catch the "open" times but was never able to do so. DOUBLE BUMMER! Then, of course, they were closed for a few days so Ben could get some rest due to a health concern. TRIPLE BUMMER! More so for Ben than the fact I couldn't order juice ... (Ben, I read you are doing much better now, take it easy on yourself man ... juice is juice, but your health is so much more important!) Anyway, I searched the web and found a couple other vendors who happened to resell, so I thought, "hmmm, might pay a touch more but if it's that good, it's worth it right?" 
So away I go, ordered 2 10ml bottles of 18mg Bobas from said vendor. Very excited, in just a matter of days I would get to see what all the fuss is about.
I get home from work and the day had arrived, Bobas was here, YAY! I unpackage it and first thing I do is shake shake shake and pour both of the plastic bottles into a 30ml amber glass bottle and and because my nose usually tells me if I'm going to like a new juice, I take a big whiff of the magic elixir ......... My initial thought ..... ACK! It smells faintly like cut cardboard ... REALLY?!?!? Where's my graham crackers, isn't that what everyone has been talking about they believe the background flavor is? This CAN'T what everyone has been trying to obtain? OK, no biggie, smell isn't everything, especially being brand new juice ...
To the dark box which steeps juice it goes and sits there for approximately a week and a half. Yesterday, I open the dark box, grab the bottle of Bobas, shake, shake, shake ... open and take another whiff. Hmmmm, there IS a bit of graham cracker ... no no no, maybe strong honey? Faint chocolate flavoring? Yeah, this has steeped enough at this point I will fill up a tank and give this bad boy a try .............
I install the tank on the ProVari, forgetting I was last vaping at 4.5 and take a long slow draw ... inhale ......... holy crap did I just swallow a brillo pad? The throat hit was INTENSE to say the least, let's back that down to 4.2 shall we? LOL I take another draw, less intense TH, but still know it's there which is a very good thing. This time I taste maybe a honey tobacco? Maybe a honey tobacco graham cracker ... not half bad. After a few draws, I am starting to get a little bit of a headache. Maybe 18mg is too much, maybe I vaped too much and didn't realize it because I was trying to determine if I like this flavor ... Let me put this down for a bit. I re-approach later in the evening and am definitely tasting notes of honey in the background. Maybe the tobacco is 555? Maybe RY4? Intriguing to say the least ... but I am noticing I have a faint headache again. Maybe the 18mg is becoming a little too much for me, maybe I need to back it down to say 12mg? Maybe it's just the fact, I'm still experiencing the effects of stopping analogs. Who knows!
I am going to vape on this tank today and see if the same thing happens, in the meantime, thinking I had missed AVE being open today, I have placed an order for 30ml of 12mg with the other vendor who also just happened to have some Gorilla Juice as well - I didn't see it listed on AVEs site, so figured they were out at this time. Anyway, now both will have time to steep when they come in and what's the worse that could happen, I have to vape more to get the "nic fix"? So be it then! I'm all for doing things in the name of "trial and error type science" <heh>.
Overall, I think I'm diggin' on this juice ... it's pretty smooth, TH is amazing, nice amount of sweetness (though I don't mind a little more sweetness in my vape), even though it's super thick, it's running just fine in a tank with 2 holes punched in the carto ... no dry hits, no burned taste, and it's not cardboard afterall
A very consistent flavor. Will it become an all day vape ... I can't say at this time. Would like to try this tank and get in the 12mg to see if I experience the same faint headache (of course, that could be related to allergies and seasonal changes as well) and I have to admit, I'm rather hooked on another tobacco flavor that mixes very well or is great on it's own ... I will say though, I believe Bobas has the potential of being a "must" in the juice storage container ... if not for an all day vape, for a consistent change to the normal!
