if its not the coil height its either insufficient power (in your case only pushing at best 9 watts) or amount of cotton. those are my guesses
with such a close air space and a coil that is not tight(maybe work on getting those coils to touch) the air is kind of directed to just a small section of the coil, this inhibits vaporization slightly. if air can be spread out more along the coil it should make for more vapor.
hey buddy got to check out for the night, hopefully you have seen some better results. definitely check out the video link I gave you (its me) and we will talk again tomorrow.
not sure if anyone is following this thread but after three more coil attempts this is what ive got....i still dont feel like this is giving me enough vapor or the vapor that a kayfun should be putting out, oh well at least it vapes..i guess lol im calling it quits for the night ill try this again later as its rather irritating. if by chance anyone is following this ill keep you guys updated tomorrow if youre interestedView attachment 336257
Hey buddy how is the draw? I have heard in certain clones that there has been obstructions in the airflow. Some had stated that they had found some sort of plastic thingy in which they had removed. I have heard this as recently as yesterday in the kayfun thread. A restricted airflow would definitely make a difference

My latest KFL clone had some shavings from the bottom positive post insulator inside of it. But in that one's case, even that didn't fix the unusable draw it came with. I suspect the air hole wasn't fully drilled through or there was machining debris inside of it that I could not remove. Drilling it out fixed it up.
I got another at the same time for my wife's MVP....no issues with that one, same clone.
