Ordered one of their generic Ego batts, had read mainly good about them, just one or two posts about them peetering out or arriving doa.
My order took one day more to arrive than my past two orders. Not complaining about that. To make a long story short, despite trying to charge it up twice the batt would not fire up my LR atty.
I decided to email them but saw the CS phone number so figured I'd give them a call.
Got a live person to answer on the 3rd ring. kind of nice since most places make you run through 10 minutes of pressing buttons through the automated menu.
The lady I spoke to was very polite. She asked how she could help. I explained the situation and she immediately told me to send it back and they would then send a replacement.
I was a little bit at a loss for words, it was too easy. I asked if they would be able to replace it since I saw that the batteries had since sold out after the time I had ordered mine. I was informed that they had held back 10% of stock for such cases.
She even said to just drop it in and send it back, cheapest postage was fine.
That was it. Took about 5 minutes if that. So I mailed it off 1st class, I'm hoping by this time next week my exchange will be here. I'll post when it arrives. Also included a letter with my info and address to help so they can hopefully expedite. Also let them know basically what I stated here.
Overall a nice and painless, just the way I like it.
