Closest vendor that may have parts is about 2 1/2hrs from here. There is a vendor that sells juice about 25-30min from here but i'll have to call and see if they have parts. I doubt they do though since it is a "smoke shop" that deals mainly in tobacco products and not ecigs.

Yes the closest I came up with was in New Orleans. Also tried to find a location specific forum here for LA but no luck. I was hoping maybe someone nearby could meet with you "in a public place" and let you try some diff delivery systems. I've done it lottsa of times with people in need meeting them in a coffee shop.

VAMOs are In your case (it sounds like youre a light vaper) each battery could last 50+ hours.

I saw somewhere the VAMO sells for $27. Lemme see if i can find it again. $27 is the price of an eGo Twist.

Liquids can stay in clearos for a long time without going bad or damaging anything. Give it a little shake and twirl if you pick it up after 2-3 days though, the wick is probably dried up.

I suppose I am a light vaper, unless I am having a stressful day then I chain vape. I find this very confusing though since I practically chain smoked before I started vaping. I probably smoked every 20min or so. If I was in a bar or in my van I smoked probably every 10mins or less. No telling with me.

$27 sounds like a steal compared to the $50 on MVS.

Ok good to know juice can sit in clearos. I was getting worried it was the reason my clearos are crapping out on me. I'll give them a shake and twirl before I use them. :)

+1 for the vivi novas. I use the minis.
Hands down the easiest and least problematic delivery system I've used. I just got into carto tanks, but I'm still liking the vivi nova the best.
The heads are cheap and the whole set up with 3 different ohm heads is 12.99.
I clean them every few days and they work great.
The only problem is sometimes they have a wicking issue. You have to keep the tanks pretty full, as well as tip the device ever now and then.
...I hated the t3. Had one good day on it. After that one day it leaked and produced no vapor along with the annoying gurgle.
Thinking about getting a protank...heard some good things.

I would be very surprised if there was someone near me. The only people i've vaping before I started was my mother, my sister's fiance, an old pool league (billiards) team member, and a guy from my husband's work. Other than people I know personally, I've never seen people vaping in public before. My sister's fiance's setup was what really hooked me though. His mt dew juice was yummy. I still feel VERY awkward vaping in public/at other people's houses. I feel like it's something I shouldn't be doing and get some major death ray looks. lol

I did see someone at the airport in Honolulu, HI on my way back from Kauai. I can't remember what battery he was using (probably a mod, I think it was big like a vamo) and this HUGE, what I remember, looked like a carto tank. I remember it looking very weird cause it wasn't flush to the battery and was skinny between the two. Made me think of a not so healthy smoking device. LOL

Well, with bottom coil clearos like the EVOD i suggest taking them off the battery if you leave it overnight or something. Liquid pressure can force out a few drop onto your batt. Just the way it is with bottom coils - youre using liquid pressure to saturate your wick instead of capillary actions. Occasional leakage is a good trade off for never tasting that burnt silica again.

Or you can leave them screwed on but set them on their sides when you go to bed. That minimizes the chance of leaking.

LOLLLL it is becoming popular here. I use the Vamo at home and while out and about I use Spinners or a Kgo. Here's the place I got my Vamo. Prolly the same Site Kanj.nguyen was thinking about:
VaporBreak To get the discount you have to register and login.

I would do carto tanks if it weren't for the fact that you have to take the time to slowly fill them. I have a very busy life. A tank seems like the best fit for me. I think I just need to invest in a good stock of spare parts. I don't vape a lot of liquid in one day either so I would need something small. I would still like to look into the mini clearos. Haven't had time to look into those yet. Would be good for testing new juice so I don't have 4 different clearos with juice in them at one time.

I'm agreeing with a lot of replies here. Adding to that:
-Yes it's pretty normal for clearos to flood your battery connection, it didn't kill the two I used.

-Yes a vamo is a great cheap option for getting into mods. Here's where you get one for that price after registering at the site: vamo v2 (I got mine there too)

-Yes vivi nova's and mini vivi's are good, but the Kanger T2 is nicer vape in my opinion. I have both a mini vivi and a T2. Comparing those two, the T2 produces more vapor with more flavor and it's slightly warm. You also don't have to take the tank apart to replace coils.
The T2 will most likely not work on any vamo though, I tried. (please kanger do an update on the T2 with a 510 connection)

When it comes to batteries you can't have high enough quality, the rated capacity (mAh) doesn't say much at all and highly depends on the manufacturer how reliable it is. I can chain-vape my vamo at 5W for at least 2 days on 2600mAh batteries. The vamo's protection even cuts it off above the safe discharge limit.

Sounds to me the Carto tank is perfect for you! I have 4 of them myself, and they are relatively quick and easy to fill, and the 3.5 mil sit flush with Egos, and look really good. They honestly aren't that much of a hassle..... If you don't vape a lot of liquid in a day, then a full 3.5ml should last you a day or two. I'm constantly vaping non stop, and its hard for me to kill a 3.5 3/4 full tank in a day.

Are the ones from China legit? If any AA rechargeable battery will work I have 6 sets of 4 that I use in my kid's leap pads and three wall chargers. All I would need to do is get the vamo/etc.

To make it very clear, NO...........don't ever use those. I know someone told you what you will need but it can't be stressed enough.

I wish you luck.

I should mention that getting Verified and going to the classified sections to hunt for cheap stuff is a huge plus.

Also, make sure you subscribe to ........'s blog or twitter. He posts crazy deals daily.

I am a Verified Member now, I did that as soon as I hit my 20 posts. :) I will look into the Classified section. The only thing I worry about is how long things will work buying them used. kwim? Definitely a plus on some things though!

Well once you know how to build your own coil, durability is no longer a question.

I wouldnt buy "perishable" devices such as eGo class batteries in classifieds since they are meant to be tossed after a few hundred charges. I recommend buying juices from there - they usually go much cheaper than straight from vendor. And once you get comfortable with rebuildables, mechanical mods can be snagged for pretty cheap.

Before the Verification process was brought in scammers were in the Classies. Has since been cleaned up and is relatively safe. ECF did the right thing in requiring members to be verified IMO.
I just spoke with someone I guided through the early days and at one point he had 15 Silver Bullets.

There are a few things you need to remember when using a T3 or an eVod:

1) Make sure that the atomizer coil is screwed into the base tightly--they often come not fully tightened from the manufacturer, or may have gotten loose through repeated refills.

2) Look at all the inner seals and gaskets to make sure they haven't become dislodged.

3) Make sure that you screw the tank into the base tightly. If it's not tight, it may leak.

4) When you screw your eVod into your battery, do not overtighten--screw it in only until it makes contact--no farther, or you may push the center post in too deep and cause all kinds of problems, including leaking. When the draw becomes tight or the taste and vapor production begin to diminish, replace the coil. This will happen sooner (even as soon as one day of heavy use) if you're using dark, viscous, or very sweet juices. The old coil can be cleaned and dry burned.

and

5) Make sure you're not getting juice in the center tube when you're filling--this will cause your eVod to leak like a sieve. If some juice gets into the tube, close the top cap and blow gently through the clearomizer to get rid of any excess eliquid.

I'm not even going to pretend I know the tech stuff, but as a nicotine addict(recovering) I choose not to increase my anxiety but a tech failure, yes I've had my problems with making the sucker work at times. To stay away from cigarettes I bought my 1st e-cig e-go c that I can use while it's charging, my back up currently is knowing every store in the area that carries disposables. This week I'll get a e-go Twist. so I'll have 2 e-cig available. It's not technically savvy but I hope it helps.

I haven't tried the disposable ones but gosh their expensive. I did get some BLU cartos, but I don't care for them. I don't feel like I am getting enough vapor when I use them even though I have plenty on exhale. I ended up cracking and getting a pack of cigs when my course work and son stressed me to the max the other day. My parts come in from MVS today though so I should be back in full force. And I got me a vivi nova in that pack. :) I hope I like it. I have a total of 10 various replacement heads/bases. I am hoping that will tie me over for at least till the middle of May. Mid-May this semester will be over, thank goodness, and a load of stress will be lifted. 18 course hours has taken its toll on me. My sociology class turned out to be a pain in the ....... Not what I needed with a composition english in the same semester.

Anyways!! I should be back to vaping today! Jumping back on the horse and running like hell!!! :vapor:
