You know what a special occasion is between two people that love each other? That special occasion is every day you are together!! My opinion of course. So go ahead a pull the trigger if that is going to make her happy. Mine jump up and down when I got her red mini provari, that was priceless for me.

I have been meaning to find a special occasion to by my GF a purple Provari. I just never quite pull the trigger because while I know she would go crazy for it when she starts using it, she doesn't ever act overly interested because it is out of her price range as something she would ever buy herself.

Meaning to find a special occasion? Can't it be just because you know she would love one? That is if she likes purple. I got the mini in purple and it's a weird purple. It's growing on me but I would prefer a tad darker purple.

Because we are 21 and 23. She is in grad school and works part time, and I am in school and work full time. We have been together for 4 years and are getting serious concerning our life together, careers, planning our big move out of college kid/trashy divorcee apartments into somewhere nice, and ultimately getting married after she graduates. We are both working hard to save money, make more of it, and be more responsible with our money. Two years ago, I would have bought bought it in a heartbeat whether or not I could afford it. It just seems more fitting to to be a special occasion kind of gift.....Christmas, or her birthday, or at least valentines day or something.

Well, I see now. You're doing the right thing and making a responsible decisions. That's commendable. Congrats on getting your lives together at a young age.

Makes a lot of sense, I'm glad to see that at a young age you are making sensible decisions. Save up and the Provari should make a nice Christmas gift, got a few months to consider it. A red mini Provari (or a color that yo know she likes) will fit just fine for a Christmas gift, in my opinion.
